Go read the OP's reasoning behind Harden being a better player and then get back with me. Which one of his reasons has anything to do with actual current basketball skill? I'm refuting his claim that Harden is better based on the reasons he gave - none of which have anything to do with basketball skill.
You will be lol when Utsa whoops your...... Oh wait! You didnt attend college. You wear Tshirts.![]()
A man who ran an organization for troubled kids in Plano is facing indecency charges involving children.
It started for one victim in this park near Davis Elementary School. His experience in a teen mentoring program led to lurid conversations, indecent behavior and even a request to make sex tapes.
“I met him at a park and I kind of figure he was a good guy,” The unidentified 18-year-old recalled the events of two years ago when he first encountered Daundre Douglas. “Soon enough we just kind of became friends.”
Douglas, known to kids as DJ, frequented Plano parks to recruit adolescents for his organization called Teens Inspiring Youth.
His website (which has since been taken down) described an office in Downtown Plano with two to three employees, but there is not an office at the location listed. “He told me he had all these connections with people I told him to basically help me and he said he could,” said the teen.
The teenager says he and others with troubled backgrounds were told they could erase problems in their past by joining his mentoring program. “He would have community service meetings where he would give kids community service hours for basically cleaning up parks.”
But soon the teenager says Douglas was exposing himself and asked the alleged victim to secretly record sexual encounters he and other boys were having with girls. “He basically said he wanted us to record them and he would put it on a website and he would be a producer.”
In the criminal complaint against Douglas, a 13-year-old boy told authorities he joined Teens Inspiring Youth because he thought it was “something to be proud of.”
But one evening at a Plano apartment, the boy and three others from Robinson Middle School were with Douglas when the so called teen mentor exposed his genitals and grabbed the boys hand “and tried to force it down his pants,” said the complaint.
Another young man who didn’t want to be identified says Douglas turned his already troubled world upside down. “It’s hard to trust people after that kind of thing)
Douglas was recently given a criminal trespass warning by the Plano Independent School District for approaching students on campuses.
He’s now in the Collin County jail facing multiple indecency charges after being arrest last week.
But one of his alleged victims believes there have to be more out there. “I want kids to know that’s not ok with DJ Douglas that’s something very wrong and I want them to report themselves.”
What makes this story even more twisted is least one family gave Douglas money for his mentoring work with their son.
Plano Police and Plano ISD have yet to respond to requests from CBS 11 on a comment in relation to this case.
Jim, that's a seductive argument, until I think about that suburban Philadelphia female voter, or that Latina who lives in Orlando. They hate confrontation. They would have turned off to a Republican candidate like that.
They want soft and comfy socialism. Naziism with a smiley face.
And that's what the champion smiley-faced Nazi Obama gives to them.
Seccession of leave. I say we've got two to three years left before they start rounding up dissenters and sending us off to Nazi-style concentration camps. I've got a little more time, cause I live in Texas.
Arizona is a good place to be for now. But New York, Iowa, Michigan, Massachusetts, PA beware. You're vastly on the road to complete authoritarianism and statism. Grab your guns, protect what few things you have left. You're living in Nazi Germany circa 1933-34.
I disowned them this morning. On Facebook and through an email. But fortunately my parents are diehard Republicans, and a sister. It's only the ed up brother in Delaware, piece of , s bag mother er who is a Democrat, and another sister in Philly who won't tell me, but I'm almost certain voted for Obama.
They are dead to me now. And I will not under any cir stances attend their funerals in 30 or 40 years.
Harsh, but a reality.
John Denver is correct. He ought to be giddy today. I agree with him.
What I in' hate are all these pussy conservatives like Sean Hannity now saying, "Aww, it ain't that bad. We will bounce back... American will turn to the right again... It's just one bad election."
Bull- ing- ! America died yesterday. It's over. There's no coming back.
236 years of history gone in one single day and night.
SPARE ME YOU'RE ING GOOD TIDINGS YOU CONSERVATIVES. This is a castrophe for libertarians and conservatives. The worst of our lifetimes.
The Nazis and Communists have just seized control of the United States of America, and you ers are trying to convince me it ain't that bad!
lol utsa
A liberal muslim sexual ACLU lawyer professor and abortion doctor was teaching a class on Karl Marx, known atheist
"Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Marx and accept that he was the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Jesus Christ!"
At this moment, a brave, patriotic, pro-life Navy SEAL champion who had served 1500 tours of duty and understood the necessity of war and fully supported all military decision made by the United States stood up and held up a rock.
"How old is this rock, pinhead?"
The arrogant professor smirked quite Jewishly and smugly replied "4.6 billion years, you stupid Christian"
"Wrong. It's been 5,000 years since God created it. If it was 4.6 billion years old and evolution, as you say, is real... then it should be an animal now"
The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his chalk and copy of Origin of the Species. He stormed out of the room crying those liberal crocodile tears. The same tears liberals cry for the "poor" (who today live in such luxury that most own refrigerators) when they jealously try to claw justly earned wealth from the deserving job creators. There is no doubt that at this point our professor, DeShawn Washington, wished he had pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become more than a sophist liberal professor. He wished so much that he had a gun to shoot himself from embarrassment, but he himself had pe ioned against them!
The students applauded and all registered Republican that day and accepted Jesus as their lord and savior. An eagle named "Small Government" flew into the room and perched atop the American Flag and shed a tear on the chalk. The pledge of allegiance was read several times, and God himself showed up and enacted a flat tax rate across the country.
The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He died of the gay plague AIDS and was tossed into the lake of fire for all eternity.
No, your post simply said that Manu "is better" than Harden, and named accolades. You didn't say Manu "has had a better career".
lol thunder
Chris, that was well-stated. Very well-written. But on this I do agree with my hero Thomas Jefferson. But in my defense, I'd say this. I don't think Jefferson ever could have imagined the extent of how far we've progressed towards destroying liberty in this Nation.
Seat Belt laws? Come on! Please. Even you have to admit that forcing individuals to wear seat belts IN THEIR OWN ING VEHICLES THAT THEY BOUGHT WITH THEIR OWN GODDAMNED HARD-EARNED DOLLARS, is utterly and completely absurd.
You keep wanting to deny that America is now a fascist state. Prove it to me. Please.
Tell me that I read that report of that anti-Muslim film director in California being sentenced today to one year in prison, wrongly. Tell me, that that media report was in error. Please, I'm begging you.
I beg you, go find a post where I said Manu "is better" than Harden. Go reply with quote on one of my posts and highlight where I said that.
Here you go. The guy was on probation for a bank fraud conviction. The probation violation sentence was a plea deal. Open and shut case. Had nothing to do with the film itself.
In a plea deal, Youssef admitted to using a name other than his legal one; possessing a driver's license under the Nakoula name; possessing a fraudulent driver's license; and falsely telling his probation officer last month that he hadn't used the name of Sam Bacile, a name he allegedly used in making the controversial film.
While on probation, Youssef was prohibited from using any other name without consent of his probation officer.
Youssef's attorney, Steven Seiden, told reporters Wednesday that his client pleaded guilty in part because he wanted to save all parties the expense of going to trial. Prosecutors agreed to dismiss four other charges.
Manu a pussy? He has won multiple Euro les, NBA les, A Olympic Gold medal (in which he led his team over the USA, and Dirk couldn't even lead Germany to qualify) and you fault him for not leaving to another team? What does he need to prove to you? You're a nobody. At this point in their careers, yes Harden is better than Manu but Manu is a Hall of Famer without a doubt, Harden still has to prove himself.
tbh when they're flying out of their windshields and public workers have to clean their brains off the concrete on a regular basis...i'd say seatbelt laws are justified, just imo
Look at this.
You called him a dumbass for saying Harden > Manu. I'd say that pretty much means you are saying Manu > Harden.
Harden has the ability to be really good. Manu isn't that good. Manu is determined and has moves, not great health but damn good determination. He's not physically gifted as Harden is, he's fragile, but he's got a killer instinct and didn't prolapse anally during the Finals. Manu has been effective, not necessarily good. MJ was good, he could do damn near everything better than anyone else. What can Manu do better than anyone else? He's crafty as and he doesn't quit. He's a decent outside shooter and good FT shooter. He's a solid closer and runs a decent point. He's a creator though. Harden is a follower of someone who created something. Manu will be recognized as an innovator, and maybe Harden will one day but I think he will be just a decent player, nothing too special.
jajajajajajajaja fall dichotomy dumbass he could've also implied Harden = Manu. XFD you're such an amateur.
Good God, just stop it. I know Harden is a better player in some aspects currently than Ginobli. The whole reasoning behind the original post was that Harden was somehow superior because of leaving OKC and all of that. In the end, respect still goes to Ginobli as the more successful player.
