We don't really know what Jacobs has left, maybe he's done. Can James break tackles in the NFL, maybe not. We have no idea what those two are capable of, we know what the Saints can do because they've been doing it. Yes as of right now and until proven otherwise the Saints have the best stable of backs in the league. Ya see little one we really don't know about Jacobs and James......yet.

Actually both Thomas and Ivory have had 700 yard seasons, Sproles has had a 600 yard season and Ingram a 400 yard season. What team has four backs that rival that out put as a group?

Nobody can be that ing stupid. Dude do you know what the word...STABLE...even means? We aren't talking about a great back gaining 2000 yards with everyone else at 100 ot less. We are talking about a combined effort from a number of backs. Yes a group with each gaining 500 is better than one back gaining 2000.

Do you watch football, you really haven't noticed the Saints have 4 quality backs? Can we say that about any other team? Answer the question?
Ok dummy, the Saints will have more backs play a bigger % role in their overall rushing total than any other team in the league. That's my deal.
Just because they all share time doesn't mean they're any good.
In fact, it usually means they are all equally mediocre and the coach is desperate to find one that stands out.

stop trying to use Gore! He's not part of the stable because I say he's not!
I would take the Saints group because they fit with the offense well and if one guy goes down, others can step in without a beat. Plus Sproles gives Brees a major weapon in the passing game. Not sure if they're the best group, but they fit with Brees really well.
If Gore goes down, there might be a slight drop, but I think it's clear Hunter can take his place.
If any of the Saints running backs go down, it's no big deal because none really stand out running the ball. Losing Sproles would hurt only because of his pass catching ability.
Kendall Hunter is not a tackle breaker, he is a speed back, no way in he can take Frank Gores place.
It's obvious you have no idea who Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingram, Chris Ivory are, all of them are better than Kendall Hunter. Do you even watch the NFL?
