Forget Bonner. Why can't Diaw spread the floor and shoot 3's? Wasn't he an awesome outside shooter? Blair is too short and Splitter can't rebound.

All of you complaining about the refs:

It's true.

Spurs were ahead 10-3 in the opening minutes. Kawhi was on a break, goes for a lay-up, draws an obvious blocking foul against Kobe, and makes the lay-up. 12-3 + an and 1, 13-3.

But no, the refs have to make the Lakers win, call Kawhi for the charge and within two minutes, Kawhi gets 2 fouls and gets put on the bench.

Lakers + Refs = win over Spurs.

It looked more like an obviously correct charge call, tbh. Kawhi charging into his defender has been his m.o. all season long. This isn't anything new. But, even disregarding Kawhi's history, he was correctly called for a charge on that play.

Ball movement and player movement isn't what it needs to be. Spurs need to run but to run you need to rebound.

I think this will still be close... Spurs need an explosive quarter.

I liked Splitter in the first half. He seemed as comfortable as ever when playing next to Duncan.
