It's almost as good as 3 points on 8 shots.
He had a great 1st quarter though...![]()

El Nono deflecting Manu per the par
6 points in the fourth quarter, 7 assists and 1 turnover. Hope your head wound heals up soon.
Manu has been dreadful.
Tony gets a B-
Elnono with the apparent schtick that isn't actually a schtick per par.
Manu is old and hurt, and knows when to stop shooting too, tbh... what's Capt Frenchie excuse?
calling a spade a spade, tbh
Team: 84 points on 90 Shots.
Non Parker Spurs: 65 points on 72 Shots.
Not really a horrible outing when looked at in context.
It's not breaking any new ground obviously but Kobe Bryant is one of the most overrated players I can think of. All time. As followers of basketball - fans, media, analysts, whoever - learn more about the game in the years to come. What makes an effective player? What really wins basketball games? As advanced basketball statistics gets closer and closer to the revolution of baseball his dear legacy will take some serious hits. His hordes of zombie-fans will resemble yellow wristband wearing Armstrong cultists and soon everyone will bow down to the most worthy of all Manu Ginobili, admit they were wrong or just plain ignorant fools not at all dissimilar to republicans and Nate Silver.
This is sarcasm, right? I was practically begging Manu through the TV to stop shooting since he was obviously ice-cold. Try to drive or pick up an assist but recognize you can't hit a shot to save your life tonight.
He kept trying to will those jumpers in, even though he was having trouble getting his freebies on-line. It was really Pop's responsibility to save Manu from himself this game. The team's 7-1; let him get right.
Manu's shooting is at the "even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then" stage...
Did you want him to stop at 8 shots or at 18 shots?
If he was going to shoot 7-for-10 in his final ten shots, then 18, tbh.
Come on man. Kobe played a great game. He was, by far, the best Laker out there. He *almost* got the win for them. He must be seething right about now.
tbh, I wanna know where Brazil is at...
I wanted him to stay at home and nurse his back.
tbh TP O was off but there is nothing wrong with TP taking 18 shots during this game, he didn't force anything. It was not silly shots but clean and open looks. TP has to take what the D is giving him.
oh and I don't think TP was 100% healthy after his flu stomach stuff.
This. Parker was among the most efficient players in the game
RINGZZZ bro. I live in LA, and so about 98% of my friends are Kobe fanboys, some of whom try to convince me he is better than Jordan. But credit where credit is due, Kobe is pretty much the best 2 guard of the post Jordan era, unless somebody wants to throw D-wade out there in a discussion. Look at last night's game. He definitely has his moments where the dude is unguardable. Living here, I watch pretty much all Laker games since they're always on. I do love his 13-30 games he goes for every now and than. But he's been pretty lights out this season so far. Their team offense is another story
19 points on 18 shots isn't even that bad. It means he scored a little over 1 point/shot. That's actually pretty efficient. And considering Parker is the Spurs' #1 scoring option (being the best player in his prime), he has every right to take more shots than anyone else...
...tbh.
going to be a fun season![]()
