His FG% and 3P% is still dog .
Lillard with 22 and 9 while going 5/6 from three tonight.
His FG% and 3P% is still dog .
1. Irving
2. Jennings
3. Holiday
4. Lillard
5. Wall
6. Walker
Irving is worth more than any two PG below him.
At this point, I wouldn't trade Irving for anyone other than Bron, Durant, CP or Brow.
Brow
You wouldn't trade him for Howard/Love
True. Irving is shooting much better. Both are similar in their assists and turnovers rate. Jennings has been much better defensively.
I would easily take Brow over Irving. No debate and not because he's for the Hornets. He brings way more to the table and has way more upside.
Jennings last game against Philly.......... 33pts on 57% shooting, 5-5 FT, 4-9 3pt, 8 asst.
Damn!
Glorified Marcus Camby over Irving
You're ing stupid if you think Davis is a glorified Marcus Camby. Way more skills offensively at a young age and more potential defensively. He has way more potential than Irving. Irving is a ing PG. Davis is a big man with so much upside and he's already averaging 17 pts, 8 boards, and 3 blocks per game while shooting 53% from the field and 78% from the line and he's still 19. He's probably as good as Irving now and has way more potential.
How many of that 17 points are spoon fed?
It's not like he's getting good guard play. His % of points off assists aren't any higher than most frontcourt players Hornets may have the worst starting backcourt in the league. Yet he's showed a good touch in the paint with his hook shot and he's hitting perimeter jumpers plus getting to the line talking guys off the dribble. If he had decent guard play, he could be averaging over 20 a game. Let's not even talk about defense where he has way more impact than Irving who's below average as a defender. Most people would easily take a talented big man over a talented PG. Its not like Irving is CP3.
He was better last year than CP3 was on his first year. But anyway,I don't think Davis ever reaches his so-called potential,I've called him a bust and maybe that makes me biased.
He wasn't really better than CP3. He averaged more PPG and shot a higher percentage from the field, but CP3 had a higher assist rate, lower turnover rate and pretty much shat on him in every other statistic and was better defensively. Also, CP3 led his team to a 20 game improvement in his rookie season without much help outside of David West. But to be honest, I would take a healthy Davis long-term over CP3.
Early-prime, pre-knee-injury CP3 was putting up some of the greatest seasons for any point guard in history and was royally screwed out of an MVP... current CP3 is one of the smartest, most cerebral players in the league and elevates his teammates... you're crazy if you take Brow over that....
me for trying to reason with you.
just a butthurt Hornet/Pelican/Spirit fan trying to believe that getting rid of CP3 was good for their ty franchise.
Irving is the worst defender in the NBA right now according to most advanced defensive metrics
PGs don't win championships. You'll find out the hard way. Davis has more potential especially on the defensive end and skills offensively as well. He needs to get a little stronger but he's only 19 and he will mature physically. Davis will be able to control the paint on both ends of the floor. That's something a PG won't ever be able to do.
Because you can't. Most of your arguments were stupid.
I never said it was good you dumb . Hornets had no choice. They just got lucky when they won the lottery and ending up with Davis. They weren't going anywhere with CP3 anyway except to a lower seeded playoff team.
He's a terrible defender. He is a very good scorer for a PG. But he's no CP3 and definitely isn't a game changer.
Luckily, our PG isn't our only star/leader... next!![]()
Next 3 best players are Monkeyball, PG Billups , streaky SG Crawford. Only 1 of those can be considered a leader
