Blair starting was the obvious outcome. Splitter only starts against the Lakers. And Pop decided a couple games ago to start Blair so that Diaw can come off the bench next to Splitter.

I'm excited about this game. Knicks are rollllllllllllllllling. It'd be nice to knock them off, tbh.

For those of you defending smallball because it's so effective against Carmelo and Kevin Durant, you got your wish. Let's see how it works.
For the record, I don't consider having Blair or Bonner at PF as playing small ball. While technically it is a small lineup, I consider it different than true small ball that consists of putting a SF at PF.

Has Pop ever coddled or catered for a role player like he has with Blair? Usually, when a player as ty as Blair whines and pouts and calls the coach out on twitter... comes to camp fat and out of shape.. develops no real basketball skill after 4 years in the league.. Pop will ship his out the first chance he gets.. or put him in the dog house.

Watching Blair out there is almost as draining as watching Bonner.

I was hoping Diaw would start I thought he has the lateral quickness to stay with Melo a lot better than Blair can.

crofl the blair hate has gotten laughable ... really dice one of the worst pnr defenders....

blair being benched for dice & diaw... & bonner being played over blair in the okc series = reasons spurs were swept & beaten by an 8 seed

^To be fair, I haven't seen Blair pout and he came into camp in great shape. And really, Blair being paid pennies makes it easy to put up with his minor drama.

I wonder how long it takes for Pop to put Jackson in for Blair. Wouldn't be surprised if it happens within a couple minutes if the Spurs get off to a slow start.

That looked like good D by Blair again.

Speaking of D, Chandler is such a beast on that end.
