And yes, I just made a fictional trade thread, suck me.
Let's say both men regain their level.
Is it feasible?
Who wins in this trade?
Just an example:

Messi s on both of them TBH
If that trade happens my eyes will burn at the sight of Manu in a Lakers jersey. It also probably wouldn't sit well with Tim/Tony.
If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense for both teams. The Spurs would be getting that bigman alongside Duncan that has been missing since Horry's retirement and the Lakers would be getting a player that would fit beatifully on D'antoni's system and some much needed depth with Bonner, Neal, Mills and/or whoever the Spurs decide to let go.
I'd rather see the Spurs in the lottery than Manu in purple and gold.
LOL let's get real. Ginobili is a used piece of toilet paper. The spaniard still top BIGMAN in the game. Spurs would win the ring without even trying. Spurs won with Duncan + old Admiral surrounded by a bunch of goodfornothings. It would look easy with Gasol.
You can't get a top big man for him and he's too important for Tim and Tony and earned the right to stay as long as he wants anyway.
Now Bruno is there any way to get Avery Bradley in a trade with the Celtics, he would give up my left nut to get him on the team tbh...
Gasol isn't tearing it up exactly, tbh. I think he's shooting like 40% from the field.
No thanks...
If it's Lebron or Durant maybe you think about it, but that's about it.
He would give up your left nut?
P/S: Another guard?
How exciting can it be to be in the same locker room as Metta and the most selfish player in history
A guard that can play the best defense at his position or close to it, someone you can throw at Bledsoe, Bryant, Chuckbrook...etc Yes I would.
It depends what you mean by "exciting" tbh . . .
No brainer for the spurs. Manu will then refuse to report, force a buyout, then come back.
If the Lakers get let's say Manu, Neal and Bonner, is it a no brainer for them too?
no chance. First of all they would never do that and if he did he wouldn't come back. He would call it quits instead. No brainer for the spurs. Manu will then refuse to report, force a buyout, then come back.
Bonner is a Spur for life . . .
They need some help inside from somewhere...it's pretty concerning watching the better teams and how easy they score inside, compared to how hard of a time the spurs have doing the same..
Agreed. Manu in a Lakers jersey would absolutely disgust me. Spurs fans are quick to forget everything Manu has done for this franchise and suddenly want to ship him off because he hasn't played well this year. He's clearly not healthy, and come playoff time, he's our most compe ive player and go-to guy down the stretch. You really want to trade that? No.
Oh and the Spurs and Lakers aren't trading key players within their own division.. Think people.
No.
I like Pau Gasol but no. Manu needs to retire as a spire. He has given everything to this team and this city and he is the ultimate warrior on the basketball. Pau has a little diva in him...when things aren't going well for him he can fold. When things aren't going well for Manu he finds a way to make them go well. No way I'd give him up for Pau. I'd take Pau on my team though...but not for Manu.
i wouldn't care to have pau gasol on the spurs. another soft big man? no thanks
it's been 9 games. there are 73 left.
the soul of the Spurs dies, tbh
