you will be missed
He had a great career and is a lock for the HOF. He is Manu Ginobili, one of the most amazing basketball players I've seen.
I'd like to express my deepest sympathy on your sad loss ElNono, DAF86, Urunobili, manufan20, manu_thebest, manu20, batmanu... and all the members of the CoM. This thread is a tribute to our beloved number 20 so please haters, member of the CoT... refrain to troll this thread and show some respect.
Now let's remember the greatest Manu moments: the clutch plays, the laser passes, his amazing leadership... and more recently the bat, the broken nose mask... too many good memories.
Ruff, I also propose to create a Manu Ginobili Memorial Fantasy Battle asap.

dude, he shot .500 and has the highest +- of everyone in the team, tied with timmy. Aren't you a bit too emotional?
denial is a first step Raven, you will see with the time you will feel better
Listen, everyone knows ginobilis is not the same anymore. But it's crazy to start a thread about him being done. I'll bump this thread when starts playing right. Fcking emotional s
i'm just glad that the Church of The Golden God (CoTGG) is finally back in session.
Matt Bonner will supplant him in the rotation and become the stud that he was called to be.
This game left me depressed and embarrassed, all last night but I'm over it now. Thank God.
The le of this thread is real disrespectful though. Manu isn't himself, true; but to call him dead is just bull in my eyes. His problems to me seem mental, as though he isn't completely in the game at times. It reminds me of how I used to function when my sleeping pattern was messed up. When I re-sync'd my biological clock, (with the sun) I felt my energy & focus come back. I'm confident he'll bounce back.
Did anyone see Melo snickering at Kahwhi for the effort he put in at the defensive end? What a piece of . I thought his at ude would change after moving from Denver to NY but he's still the same and having JR there doesn't help. I've NO respect for him. Kahwhi gonna punk him next meeting, I will circle my calendar.
I think the problem is that Manu's brain has not yet accepted that Manu's body can not do what it used to be able to do. He needs to settle in to a lesser role and reduced ability.
So his body can't hit shots anymore? Because holy I've rarely seen such broken jumpers in the NBA.
Should probably be 1995-2011. Pretty disappointing last year as well.
Was that Manu is also struggling earlier in 2009-2010 season? But bounce-back during the mid-season up to Playoffs.
Wow, the guy is a little banged up right now. Harsh room.
"Please sir, step away from ledge..."
He clearly doesn't have his legs back yet. Let him get in shape before you right him off.
RIP Tony Parker
Like Lazarus he will rise from the dead.
Truer words have never been spoken.
Funny to see how the CoM and anti-TP camps are finally coming out in this thread, and pissed off at that. Funny how some can pile on Parker all day (well, all year and all decade, actually) but can't see the humor in one pseudo Manu-bashing thread![]()
Please guys stop derailing this tribute to Manu.
The thread is here for remembering the good ol memories.
Back spasms (& the following recovery) will do that to you.
