Is Kinect any good?

I got one as part of a deal and I'm trying to decide if I should keep or sell it. I tried a few games and they all seem pretty lame, hard to control, annoying to stand around waiting while loads, etc.

Any other thoughts, opinions? Am I doing it wrong, not playing the best games? Something else?

So far I tried the marionette one, fruit ninja, Kinect Fun Labs (Bobble Head), and Kinectimals.

Maybe my kids will like it more.

got it for 40 bucks at a pawn shop, only thing ii've used it for is bull achievements. Some of the voice stuff they integrate into games is cool though

cant the kinect do so many more things than just play games?

I basically bought a 360 Slim and sold two older 360's to cover the cost, the Kinect was part of the deal and didn't cost me anything. I know I can sell it for 40-50 bucks or keep it, but it doesn't seem so great so far.

you could use it as a 3d photomodeler scanner imo. it works.

my daughter got one for christmas from her grandparents, and playing kinect adventures and kinect sports has been fun so far. dreading dance central but will be roped into playing later.
