I fully expect the hyping of Manti Te'o to hit new levels this week though.

No doubt about that.
Yeah, he's a good football player.
Doesn't change the fact Johnny Football is a really stupid nickname.
I'm trying hard to like him as a player, but DesignatedT and Sisk make it almost impossible with all the huge drinks they take from his jar.
They do make it incredibly easy to hate the SEC. I never really hated the SEC so much before the Aggie semen cloud over the SEC this year.
two Aggies on a message board making you dislike something in real life? Go outside, man.
Aggy has gone through a lot of hard times. Let em have their fun.

Wow, Notre Dame's at 40. They're going to get reamed in the championship game.
lol Notre Dame's QB went to my rival high school.
And Johnny Football is the frattiest nickname I've ever heard love it.
Pretty sad when you can't get rid of your annoying little brother syndrome even after leaving big brother behind.
We have definitely left yall behind. Look at the thread le... you're in our thread.
Dude loves himself some ST. The other day he was talking to me for not being 'accepted' on this message board.
I'm not the one who created an ST hierarchy in their own mind. Seems like only one of us is obsessed with it.

His total yards against LSU are extremely misleading. 81(!) total plays called for him. He averaged UNDER 5 yards per attempt - THAT'S TERRIBLE. He averaged under 2 yards per rush - THAT'S TERRIBLE.
Not that it matters. For Klein to stay the favorite, he had to not lay an egg against Baylor - he (and everybody else wearing a purple jersey) shat themselves profoundly (to mix a couple metaphors).
But it's still ridiculous for Aggie fans to trump the LSU total yardage as a point in Johnny's favor. That's the equivalent of getting excited about a basketball player's 25 point game when he took 40+ shots.
I've repeatedly said that he had a bad performance vs LSU, Was just showing that even in his worst performance as a college quarterback, he still put up the most yards of any other QB LSU had faced up to last week. Of course, that LSU defense didn't look that impressive vs Ole Miss last weekend. But it's still ridiculous for Aggie fans to trump the LSU total yardage as a point in Johnny's favor. Solid post, should help your acceptance rating on ST. Keep it up.![]()
Thanks. I appreciate your vote of confidence in climbing up your imaginary success ladder. Maybe I'll make a thread about how good it feels to be successful.
Still misleading though because of the pace of play - he ran 81 pass + QB rush plays, nobody other QB has come close to that number against the Tigers. His YPA & YPC were still both well LSU's (still impressive) season averages.
All that said, I won't argue against his overall candidacy. I can no longer build up a QB who didn't tear up & beat Baylor as a better candidate.
haha trying to turn it on me when you have these two golden posts:
