    I'd suppose they'll make a trade.

Tim Dobbins gets the 1st crack at Cushing's starting spot. Kubiak said the team will have to make up for Cushing's loss as a group

Doesn't sound like it. I'm betting that they will go this route until Sharpton is healthy. However, that philosophy may change after the GB and BMore games.

They're gonna have to do something. Dobbins is the option now but who sits behind him until Sharpton is healthy? Sharpton is said to not be ready for a few weeks.

Ruud had 4 straight 100-tackle seasons from 2006-10 in TB. He'll help the #Texans try to replace Cushing at ILB

Holliday looked good but he couldn't quit muffing kicks. Good to see they signed a LB.

Pretty much...and if you can't even get that one trick right at least some of the time it will be hard to keep a job.

Per Kubiak Keyshawn Martin will be the new kick returner on punts and kickoffs. Good choice.

Ben Tate will also be back for the Packers game.

Welcome back, Kareem Jackson. Now all you have to do is go back to falling down all the time to go with not looking back for the ball and all will be right with the world.

CB Johnathan Joseph (sore groin) is day-to-day. Kubiak said he's had some soreness, nothing to keep him from playing #Texans

Makes sense. He has looked like the past couple of games. I knew there had to be something wrong with him.

    Nick Scurfield ‏@NickScurfield
Kubiak: DE Tim Jamison is out for the rest of the season with a torn Achilles #Texans

We can only hope this trend stops here.

Good timing for the bye week. Having Jonathan Joseph back close to 100% is crucial for the secondary. He needs these two weeks off. There are some other players with bumps and bruises that it will benefit too.

It has indeed been a good run..I heard Kubiak on the radio said Andre hasn't been 100% since he had the surgery but should gain his ecplosiveness back after the bye as expected.

Not to overshadow Schaub's big day, but the one thing I wanted to see out of him he still couldn't produce. He could have ended the game in overtime by hitting an open receiver but wound up underthrowing the ball and getting it picked off. The defense/Andre Johnson bailed him out and the Texans won the game.

Him not making that throw worries me. It tells me he's still not clutch enough to do what is necessary to win when it's all on the line. At some point, he's going to have to prove he can win a game for the Texans with his arm when everything goes to like it did Sunday. There has to come a time when he plays like a champion and not a game manager for this team to be serious about a le.

I don't understand why Foster is being taken out of the passing game. Teams are scheming to stop the run...loosen up the defense with some short passes, Ray Rice style.

Kubiak is one of the biggest offensive enigmas on the planet. Sometimes he looks flat brilliant then others you are like wtf?

  20. #120
Yeah, Schaub still has to prove himself. The obvious thing about the defense was that two seasons ago they couldn't bail out anything or anyone. So I took yesterday's game as a welcome chance for the Texans to mount a come back after being down in a game. Even against the lowly Jags. The Texans have to learn how to win anywhich way they can.

Foster is on pace for 400 carries. You gotta limit his touches somehow and Tate is still hurt.

Its not just on Schaub. The whole team came out lethargic and Shayne Graham can't hit anything outside the 30. Schaub drove them down the field in position to get a TD but got a field goal instead. Shayne Graham hits the FG in regulation and its game over. Down 14 and Schaub led them back.

Btw, remember this line isnt as strong as last year with Winston and Briesel leaving. The times they tried running screens this year they got blown up.

I think that false start with 5 seconds left in regulation ticked me off more than Schaub's pick off in OT. Graham would have made the 42-yard FG. It was a stupid penalty.

Schaub with yet another pick in OT. Better get that whole defense healthy because this game manager isn't carrying them in the clutch.
