I'm stuck at 99.9%
I was playing that this spring. I think I topped out around the 60 hour mark on it right after I got the trophy for reaching the 75% in game completion mark. I took a look at what was left to be done on the list and said that.![]()
I'm stuck at 99.9%
Even though Mass Effect 3 was an abomination of sorts, I got every achievement in like 2 playthroughs except the 0-day DLC and all subsequent DLCs. So I'm actually at 50/50+DLC.
got the original 1000 for mass effect 2 and 3 no DLC, will have 100% for RE6 by the end of today
You've gotta be sadistic to get 100% in that game. I'll admit, it was a dark time in my life. There's nothing like putting on your headphones, listening to music or a podcast and just mindlessly sweep the game for villages and crates.
This is the internet sir, we use words in their correct context here
what's the word I'm looking for then? I knew when I typed sadistic that there was something wrong with it but I'm drawing a blank here.
I'm thinking of getting pleasure from pain... or something along those lines.
Oh! Masochistic. Oops my bad![]()
It's a game with plenty of potential for the sadistic sort as well. I don't know of any other game where you can unlock an achievement by hanging a certain number if enemies, much less the opportunity to kill them by dragging them behind a fighter jet.
I lost some damn good horses due to their propensity for loitering on train tracks.
Just Cause 2 was s... Also peaked at 99% until I couldn't handle it anymore. I actually ended up picking up again like 6 months later and replayed the whole thing again back to 99%. One of the greatest sandbox games ever, IMO. Can't wait to see what they come up with for Just Cause 3.
You dirty bas s got me playing Just Cause 2 again. Picked up a few trophies, currently at 93%. I swear I'm done with this thing for a while. May have to regift it to my brother who just got a PS3 to make that happen.![]()
I can't remember what I named the horse I started the game with. I do remember learning pretty quick that it was an open world Rockstar game and that I didn't name any of them after that. IIRC I came galloping up on some situation where the bullets were flying, hopped off the horse, dealt with the banditos or whoever the it was, and went back to find it had caught a stray bullet somewhere in all the mayhem. Cue the Vader, "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" On the whole I lost way, way more to those ing cougars than a did anything else.

Yeah same here with the cougars. Riding the horses of death will solve that problem.
I recently started playing RDR again after all the talk about it, and the last time I played (at least a year ago) I brilliantly decided to save at a campfire near Tall Trees with zero ammo. I started up my game, got on my horse, started riding into town, and within 25 seconds a boar and a bear double-teamed my horse and killed it. So, without ammo, I just started running in the hopes they'd all just disappear when I got out of the trees. No luck. I kept running, all the way past the Manzanita Post to Beecher's Hope, being chased the whole ing time. At one point I used the "look back" feature while I was running and there were three bears and two boars trailing me the whole way. The game glitched and they literally disappeared once I got to Beecher's Hope. It was both hilarious and far more stressful than it needed to be.
Those ing bears are relentless. First time I got attacked by one I actually let out a Homer Simpson-esque shriek but managed to dodge the jerk and rode at a sprint out of there. Figured I had lost him, turned to explain to my wife why the I just made the noise I had made, heard a growl, and turned back to the screen just in time to see my horse hitting the ground. In an equally brilliant turn of events I had the damn lasso equipped at the time for some reason and in my spastic attempts to equip a gun and dead eye Gentle Ben in the ing face I only succeeded in equipping my knife. For all the movie last stands that video games have let me relive I didn't expect the last scene from Legends of the Fall to be one of them.
But I always hope.
JC3 lives. Imaged posted by the founder of the studio.

Still havne't finished my hard play through on IF2. I pick it up every now and again.
working on ES oblivion right now, so far onlly shut one gate and only finished the fighters guild
One week ago i finished 100 percenting RDR and Undead Nightmare, i could be wrong but i think wild animals stop chasing you when you enter a town.
I tried to lure a bear to Manzanita to see if he could kill some NPC's but the bear stopped chasing me near the settlement.
4 month bump.
Specops: The Line. Pretty easy game for completionists, especially since it has no MP trophies. Compared to most games the overall difficulty is amped up but in terms of what they actually ask you to do for the trophies there's nothing too outlandish like "Kill 5 enemies using only headshots with a pistol without reloading or taking any hits". There's one set of collectables scattered throughout the game but it's so linear there's no place off the beaten path for them to hide and in Resident Evil fashion they are nice enough to shine and flash when you enter a room. There's a handful of binary choices that are pretty clear cut, so it's easy to do the opposite of the previous run through. Just about the rest are "get X total kills with Y weapon" which are all but guaranteed since ammo is a scarcity so you'll end up using just about any gun the game gives you and it mixes up the variety well. In two playthroughs I got all but two trophies just in the natural course of gameplay, and picked those up within about 30 minutes of starting a third.
need one more skyrim achievement and ive knocked them all out plus the dlc. ing legendary dragon.
only game that i've 100% was metroid prime 3, though i guess i've "100%" the N64 and Gamecube Zeldas.
