No one else was bidding for him, and he wanted to come back to the C's... so why such a long contract? Blah.
tbh, I can be mad at both. Green showed during the preseason that he can play with guts, but the regular season shows he just has no balls.

As much as people liked Green in OKC, he was basically a 3 point shooting PF who did nothing inside...and he started at PF. We were going nowhere with him there. He was, at best, a backup to KD at 3 and certainly not worth anything near $9m a year to OKC

if splitter goes for 9/11 from the field, i don't think it's green's fault..
they & brooklyn will be housing some of the world's tiest contracts a few years from now imho. while jeff green is a piece of trash and doesn't deserve even half the money he gets paid, the stat-padding little also earns big $ from the club but still can't shoot.
