I stayed at home all day, but the smart ones from my area who went out participated in "White Friday" on the ski slopes of Mt. Hood instead. They weren't crowded at all!

Got 2 Samsung Galaxy SIII from Sprint for .99 each. Also got a 100 dollar credit to offset the $36 per line activation fee. And we were not fully eligible for an upgrade until Dec 1, but on Wednesday I was able to get the $50 early upgrade fee for each line waived as well.

I refused to shop on Thursday because I do not want to support or encourage the stores to open on Thanksgiving Day. I went out Friday morning about 7:30 or so and the stores were pretty empty. It was a great time to shop. Crowds did not get worse until about 11 or so and that was because I was at North Star Mall by then.

I got lots of great deals, especially on clothes at Dillards and Macy's. I also placed several online orders for things that are not going to get any cheaper. I, however, was not in the market for TV's, phones, tablets ... so I did not really go to the crazy places like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. Bed, Bath, and Beyond just wasn't crazy!

I didn't go out until Friday afternoon and the only place I went was Academy. I still found the 50% discounted Adidas Trailrunners I wanted and a couple of the $5 Nike running skorts

I got a 46 inch Samsung 1080p 240 hz TV on Wednesday night from Costco. Most places have sales before Black Friday and I think I made out with an awesome deal.
