Kyle Lowry is pretty damn near an All-Star level player, fwiw.
brah, you don't need to prop up Lowry to tell me TP is good. I know that much

Not even the best defensive PG on his own team, fwiw.
Disagree, tbh... But I'm talking career-wise... Ra'on just hasn't been the same since the rumors Ainge was going to trade his ass a season or two ago..

So Parker isn't Prime Duncan, Prime Shaq, Michael Jordan or LeBron? Shocking. Let me go cry myself to sleep. BRB.
Can he be prime Wade circa 2006? Don't see it, tbh...

Prime Chauncey Billups circa 2004? I mean, can't really go lower than that, IMO.

Neither do I. 2006 Wade was a 28 PER regular season, 27 PER playoff player. Those are superduperstar level numbers. I'm not even sure Kevin Durant could duplicate that ... and he's the second best player in the league today.

Parker's playoff PER ceiling is probably ~22-23.

19.1 PER is doable, tbh. But that wouldn't be enough for the Spurs to win the championship. Parker was 19.4 last playoffs and we know how that ended.

So you're saying that 2008-2009 29.3 PER against Dallas was just a fluke...

For five games he can play like LeBron. Not for 20+ games, though.

That is TDMVPDPOY level of bads. Do that trade and the Spurs biggest weaknesses (fragility, can't rebound, underperforming bigs, age) still exist. You can argue it'd make the Spurs better but instant favorites? C'mon brosef.

You'd feel more confident with Duncan playing at an MVP level. Another shocking revelation, tnbh.

taking everything out of context tbh
last year parker was the #1 option and we lost
if it stays that way where he is pretty much the unanimous best player on the team i dont like the spurs chances with us now a year older
one big weakness in the wcf was parkers jumpshot disappearing on him and his tunnel vision
that wont happen to cp3 and if we had him last year we probably get past okc

cp3 is also playing with monkeyball
if he had one of the most complete offenses in the nba he could do more then parker
we would consistently be at a higher level then the mostly average/above average were at now
obviously bigs are our weakness but in reality nothing will happen so i wont talk about what trade for bigs would make us contenders

also i was saying i would rather have this 20/10 version of duncan and an above average parker vs a 15/9 duncan and an mvp candidate parker in the playoffs
spurs also felt the same way at one point
tried to deal him for jkidd once and in 09 for cp3

tp is a fkn scrub from start to finish

last 2 seasons has been bull on his part ever since duncan given him the keys to the city...fkn horse

his off the court dramas destroyed the teams trust and chemistry, doesnt help when the media is looking for dirt to publish when its not basketball reasons....

last season gettin a big head going into the playoffs WCF calling out that turd westbrick only to backfire...even though parker got his, there was no need to fire up the opponents with smack talking....

dude was exposed when no backup pg was there to bailout his ass against westbrick...
