About the Blazers: Portland looks to rebound from its 98-85 loss at Brooklyn on Sunday as it plays the second game of a seven-game Eastern Conference road trip. ... After a hot start to the season, Batum has cooled considerably. In his last three games, he averaged 11.3 points and shot 17.6 percent (3 for 17) on three-pointers. ... Matthews, who is on pace for a career-high scoring average (previous best was 15.9 points in 2010-11), is doing so despite the worst free-throw shooting of his career. After entering the season with an 84.4 percent career percentage, Matthews is shooting 66.7 percent (32 for 48) at the line this season. ... Hickson got 19 points and 10 rebounds against the Nets for his seventh double-double of the season. He got seven double-doubles in 19 games with the Blazers last season.
About the Pistons: After starting the season 0-8, Detroit won three of five before getting blown out by New York 121-100 Sunday. ... Singler, the former South Medford High School star, has started the last six games, keeping the starting spot even after Rodney Stuckey returned from injury. As a starter, Singler is averaging 11.3 points and shooting 51 percent from the field, including 38.5 from three-point range. ... Before Sunday's games, the Pistons were ranked No. 25 in the NBA in scoring at 92.2 points and were 19th in field goal percentage at 43.7.
Series history: The Pistons won their only game against Portland last season, in Detroit, to snap a six-game losing streak against the Blazers. Portland leads all-time 56-48, but Detroit has a 31-22 home advantage.
Injuries: For the Blazers, forwards LaMarcus Aldridge (back) and Victor Claver (right elbow) are game-time decisions, and guard ****** Williams (left Achilles) will not play. The Pistons report no injuries.

It's okay tlong, keep the faith. If the blazers keep building through the draft you might even get to see them bounced as an 8 seed before the Alzheimer's kicks in.
If Bledsoe is little lebron, lillards incessant chucking make him little Kobe
Worst game thread ever. I'm a basketball junkie and not even I would watch this game. I'd sooner watch the Bobcats versus Sacramento -- or something like that -- over this P.O.S.
Non-issue. Pistons played over their heads and we played bad. We need to be one of the 12 worst teams anyway due to our trade with the Nets.
What ever happened to Lillard leading Blazers to the playoffs this season?![]()
Never said he would. He WILL be ROY though.
Yeah you did, you said Blazers will make playoffs this year and WCF next year
Common knowledge
Lakers fans were practically creaming their pants after beating detroit for their first win of the season.
