I can't comment on this discussion until I know if SLC was ever given a shout-out on any 90's "West Side" hip-hop tracks.
Utah does have a program they call the West Coast Initiative whose goal is to bring jobs from California to Utah.
I can't comment on this discussion until I know if SLC was ever given a shout-out on any 90's "West Side" hip-hop tracks.
So does Texas. Does that make us West Coast too?
I am still waiting for you to justify your claim that I said utah was West Coast. From reviewing the thread neither did DoK but you are just intent on this derail. You don't have anything worthwhile to say as per usual so I guess you have to say something.
Is the majority of Utah mountainous or in the Great Basin?
I am still waiting. You really think that your bolded statement is me calling the state west coast?
The Western Pacific Basin includes Japan and the Philippines. I don't think Utah is quite that far west.
Yes, your bolded statement is you calling Utah West Coast.
I said it was sometimes called that. I never said that I called it that. Can you understand the difference?
Given the flow of the discussion, me choosing that 'sometimes' phrasing instead of an iden y and a little bit of critical thinking and you should be able to tell.
Can you show where DoK did?
Since you still don't seem to understand I will try pictures.
West Coast
Not West Coast
Claiming that I said that to support MY argument? That's a circular argument. I am still waiting for the part where I said it was West Coast. You know a quote that is self contained indicating that.
Me saying that I understand where it being called that comes from ie that it is mosty the great basin that leads to the coast does not mean that I myself would call it that. Your critical thinking sucks as i have to hold your hand through what should be simple logic.
OK, show me a link from ANYONE on the internet besides you and DoK that calls Utah West Coast.
Those were YOUR words. They weren't someone else's words.*Utah is in the western Pacific basin west of the rockies and like all of the other states that fit that bill, are sometimes referred to as west coast.
Yeah and you clearly suck at grammar and critical thinking. Saying something is sometimes called something particular is not the same as calling something in particular in and of itself. This is why I say you lack nuance. There is a difference between the two even if you are too stupid to discern it.
I gave you the perfect out you stupid . Find one other person on the WWW besides you and DoK that calls Salt Lake City "West Coast"...
Prove "some of those people" that exist in your fuzzy little head really exist.
That's a red herring so who gives a . You still suck at grammar.
Where do you think this picture is from?
You can pull the price tags off, . You just got owned.
So is that your closing argument? This posturing? i know you put a lot of stock into unsubstantiated premises but just because I choose not to participate in your false choice does not justify your position.
What i want to know is do you still think that "Utah is sometimes referred to as West Coast" means that I call Utah West Coast? Oh and that picture I posted: where do you think it was taken?
Just outside Sequoia National Park dumbass. It's actually in California. Last time I checked Salt Lake City was still two states over. Not West Coast. So when are your imaginary friends that think Salt Lake City is west coast going to chime in?
So posting pictures of snowy mountains proves what?
Yes, I knew all along Salt Lake isn't technically on the West Coast. Didn't deny that.
I think we both know, the point of my original post was that I plan on working in the Western part of the US which doesn't require a suit to work everyday. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.
