No. Both are the same percentage of the total.
Your scale is a bit off no?
No. Both are the same percentage of the total.
This is true, and if my debt was 5 dollars, it would still be true with my comparison at a smaller scale.
It would be great to have someone pay off your debt (I am debt free but still) and I would not scoff at 100K.
I'm just here to talk basketball.
Yea, I have a real hard time figuring out powerballs, multipliers, megapliers etc. I can barely pick 6 numbers so occ. I'll get a QuikPick, but supposedly those don't ever win anything. They for sure don't ever win anything for me.
So you're saying you would buy kilos of coke with the winnings too? What about the hookers though?
With that kinda money, they better be escorts and not hookers..
Actually quick picks win a lot. I used to think the same thing so I looked it up and many of the winners and 5 of 6 payouts were quick picks.
Quick picks have the same stasticial chance of winning as picking your own numbers. When you take supers ion out of it (which there's nothing wrong with playing your own numbers or believing that), it's all the same.
Cool, I'll stick with the qp.
I put down 5 a week fo fun n gotta 3 + mega once.
It probably has higher payouts too. Playing the lottery is massively stupid already, but even worse is playing all the same numbers 1-31 for birthdays that everyone else does so that you're guaranteed to be splitting the pot with others if your ass actually wins anything.
I broke down and bought 5 tickets. Jesus Christ, they are 3 bucks a piece. On another note, the ticket said that the pot is up to 500 million.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Wednesday's Powerball drawing could be one for the history books, with the jackpot rising to a record $500 million.
The top prize now increases to an estimated $500 million, the largest in the history of the multi-state lottery game. The next drawing will take place Wednesday.

Yes, I know how much the tickets are.
I was talking to my gardener, not some carpenter.

here they are 2 apiece
$2 here, too
sounds like Raj at the 7/11 ur buying ur tickets at is taking some on the side, tbh
No its 2 bucks, plus a dollar for the powerball (I guess like the multiplier???)
I assumed you had to get that to get the jackpot. (again, I don't know how to place an order for a ticket very well)
I just looked that up because I'm pretty vague on how it all works but I want to get a few tickets today. If I understood it correctly, the extra $1 is a PowerPlay that adds an increased set value to your jackpot.
Do you need it to win the jackpot, or is it only to multiply lesser winnings?
It's to increase your NON jackpot winning prizes. So if you get a few numbers for $100 dollars that extra buck you put in will up your winnings. If you win the jackpot though I don't think it does a damn thing.
Got my tickets! I'll be changing my name from mrsmaalox to Rich in the morning!![]()
