Pop most likely going to use the TP, Neal, Green, Duncan, Splitter line up vs big Grizzlies.

I think this is a another great game to use the "big" line up of Diaw at SF, Duncan, and Splitter especially if rebounding becomes an issue. Of course it will be interesting to see if Pop continues to use that type of line up when Kawhi and SJAX returns. Because while it is a big line up, you don't lose that much mobility on the defensive end.

BIG game tomorrow. Spurs are riding with a lot of momentum going into this which is odd considering they lost. The Spurs have a chance to make a huge statement to the rest of the league seeing as how all eyes are on San Antonio this week.

Thought Kawhi was targeting this game for his return?

Not his call. Spurs have three days off after the Memphis game. I'd guess that Kawhi will be back for the Milwaukee game on Wednesday.

I think Kawhi is a game time decision for this game. He's close to being back, and we could use him to help defend Rudy Gay, one of the top 5 SFs in the NBA. Might be worth running him for 15 mins or so to take some of the burden off Green and Ginobili. Gay is going to be a real handful.

Looking forward to the game though, the Grizzlies are really clicking this year. Should be a dope game, and it's going to be a big factor in the seeding this year.

Kawhi was suppose to be back for this game
but they did say on the broadcast that he wasnt ready for another week
if he does come back i wonder how pop will manage him
leonards biggest strength defensively is his post defense which is why rudy gay has struggled vs him
im not sure if leonard was able to come back earlier and just didnt bother coming to the trip to make sure he was 100% or if he is like 90% and hes coming back as early as possible

Gay is the least of the Spurs' problems. Limiting Randolph on the boards is and getting past that backcourt of Conley/Allen.

Strong agree. Gay actually had a negative plus/minus last season, I presume because he's a high volume jump shooter who keeps the ball from the high % shooters like Gasol and Randolph. He's obviously a great player, but he oversteps his bounds a little too much when he's out there, and should defer to other players more than he does.

I hope the Spurs don't get sanctioned for not playing Kawhi.

How can he be a gametime decision? Thought the league needs ample notice when sitting players lol

Captain Popsickle is going to have this team pissed off and angry. The Grizzlies are going to get rolled.

    Stern has awakened a beast.

He's also the worst defender among their starters. The Spurs swept them last season by turning Gay into a chucker (having Kawhi to dog him helped too).

It would be funny if the Spurs put black and white color cards down on the upper deck seating, and when held up, they spelled out STERN. Won't happen, so we'll need the crowd to start the chant.

    We need Bonbon's defensive rebounding.

The Grizz don't have a chance tomorrow night. The Spurs are going to obliterate them in lieu of dog piling on Stern.

Especially given how well Tiago's playing... only problem he has is that he's invisible after every great game

I'm loving this Spurs team more than I ever had this early in the season. It seems that we now have this "us against the world" mentality. Might light a fire under our asses this postseason!

If Timmy, Tony, and Manu don't play 40+ minutes, Stern and his gang of thugs will likely levy more sanctions. I hear a two-year playoff ban and a $500,000 fine are on tap for the next "infraction".
