I think Pop has always been vocal in his displeasure with the scheduling of games. If I'm not mistaken he once said that playing that many games on the road and double back to back hurt the league and the fans by offering a watered down version of teams that are tired and leg weary facing a rested opponent.though I am not sure but you have to know that if anyone has the balls to stand up to the league and it's version of integrity of the sport it would be Pop.

It wasn't the smartest thing to do, tbh. Pop should restrain from challenging the NBA authorities. That being said, Stern is an dishonest person. However, in that case he's right.

Not fining directly Pop is a mart move from Stern.
Had Pop be the one fined, the coaches association would have fight against it. Most of the NBA coaches have carefully taken Pop's side.
With Stern directly fining Spurs, nobody will come at their rescue. If Spurs wants to fight that fine, they will have to do by themselves.
This was such a low blow. I'm so so so SORRY for whoever has to pay this...If this is the price for taking care of your soldiers than so be it.

It`s not about Spurs getting fine. They`ll do fine without my 50$. It`s about bull ,which NBA becomes. I`ve got Parker`s shirt and stuff. I would want to give my money to pay this fine, simply as that.
