He won't be the only superstar the Lakers have in the future.
You're counting on Nash to be the other superstar?

Wow that's brilliant. The Lakers always find a way to get great players over the years and I don't see that changing.

Oh, yes, of course, everything Dwight Howard says to the media is honest and straightforward and there's never anything else going on that he doesn't reveal. That's certainly been the case up to now. The man is like a rock. He's the John Wayne of NBA players. You can always count on his word. Never any backstabbing, never any double dealing, never any ego, never wants the spotlight on him. He's definitely the guy you'd want in the foxhole with you.

So Dwight isn't hungry for being in the limelight, pursuing off the court acting career and being around all the stars? Are we talking about the same Dwight Howard here?
Of course he is. He's a huge got. And there's nothing more a got loves than being the center of attention.

he might be a **** but what he said to the media about him staying with the lakers doesn't sound very false to me because thats the choice that is gonna bring him the biggest $ possible, ain't leaving 20+ million on table to leave for another team as a free agent imho. he would replicate what he did in orlando even if he really wants out of LA

Howard insists he doesn't hold any negative feelings to the city of Orlando or the owners of the Magic.
    what a deluded wit.

they're the ones who should be holding negative feelings.

in all fairness dwight should have left orlando. they failed miserably at getting him a good supporting cast, and they had some contracts that made it seem like that'd be his core for the forseeable future.

i don't understand what these laker fans are talking about, dwight clearly wanted brooklyn more. he said it, sources with knowledge of the situation said it, and pretty much everyone involved with the nba knew it.

The question is, what would have been a good supporting cast for Howard? Did Howard need another dominant big next to him? Did he need a superstar perimeter player to take more shots? Who could have filled these roles? It's easy to say the players they got didn't work, but they seemed to fit Howard's game. I don't see who out there would have made the Magic better. It's possible that Howard isn't really a championship centerpiece.

Also, didn't Howard want some of those guys who had terrible contracts?

orlando was the last team wanted to play for, not matter it was brooklyn, dallas or LA it would always be a better choice for him to leave orlando rather than stay with the ty franchise that the magic was, but he would never leave orlando (or LA speaking of now) as a free agent for $ reasons, which is what matters most for this son of a ing tbh

There's no guarantee of that dip . If the Lakers could land a Superstar at anytime they wanted then the whole Smush era would've never happened and Kobe's prime would've been taken advantage of more.

Anybody who doubts Howard staying or wanted to be a Laker all along is simply just trying to stir the Laker hate pot, tbh.
