Stupid is thinking anyone really cares what others think about.
Yet you keep using an appeal to authority and bringing up what others think.

It's like music, we are all influensed by what we heard. Without others I'd never have known about any God. I have seen enought to realize those who do believe are far better off than those who don't. I prefer to have a God in my life, you gain nothing by not having Him there.

You think these guys hide behind a computer screen talking ?

We live in a world that does believe, I prefer to believe. Give me a good reason not to believe. Do you think I'd be better off if I didn't? What harm/negative is there being a believer? My life would be better off if I didn't, how's that?
Who cares if the world believes... doesn't mean you just follow something blindly because others do. I don't know or care if you'd be better off but to say I am not as happy as you and an idiot because I'm in minority and don't follow blindly like you is moronic

Apparently you really haven't been paying attention. I mentioned seeing the difference a God does make in others lives. I've watched dumb s like you come to God and how He changed things for them. I've seen old people content with death because of their faith in God. I've seen how God has turned things around. If you want to live in a world without Him in it, go for it. It's very obvious you are beyond help.

This story has been told many times.

I was religious as a youth until I started asking questions and too many were left unanswered or answered poorly. I don't really have much wrong with god but man-made religion is a ing joke. I tried having god in my life for many years, I tried and it did nothing and I am much happier now tbh, explain that mr high and mighty

I've been trying to stay out of this, because it's one of those arguments that nobody can actually win. That said, I would off hand, trust anyone with religious values over an Atheist or Satan worshiper. I don't care if you believe in Jehovah, Allah, Zeus, Mother Earth, etc. Over my half century of memory, I have clearly noticed that those who believe we have a living spirit are statistically better people than those who don't.

What if those questions you asked had of been answered? It appears you weren't in the best surroundings. You might think you're really happy without a God, a mistake a lot of people make.

Ever have to take a leak really really bad, so you hold it and hold it and hold it then finally......ahhhhhhhhhh. It's kinda like that, once you finally find Him, ahhhhhhhhh.

There is no doubt in my life those I've come across with a God in their life are better off than those who don't. I don't care what anyone here says about it, like you I've seen it.

We tend to see more broken homes, crime, drug and alcohol abuse from those without a God. More dependent on the system to survive.

But why argue about it with someone who's mind is set otherwise? You are just spinning your wheels.

Yes, we all do. However, the depth at which you all go at this, considering there is no solid proof either way, suggests you have nothing better to do. I think that's pretty sad.

I agree with that, that's why those who come here to do nothing but wimper/argue/criticize really do have it bad. I do make an effort to pull my weight and not have to be drug along by others. So many here are happy to just follow.

c'mon mate, you'd trust someone who worships mother earth or scientology over an atheist... surely not.

    Absolutely.

I don't trust people who don't believe in having a soul.

Just how trustworthy do other people think you are?

Do bother answering. I don't expect it to be an honest one.

Why is believing in a soul so important? I am sure there is a very fair share of people who believe in souls who are not trustworthy. I don't see how this belief makes anyone more trustworthy? I don't trust people unless given a reason to and I sure don't base it around belief of souls or religion, it's whether or not they earn my trust

Everything matters on the whole of the individual. My werds were meant in general. If you go back to my earlier words:
That said, I would off hand, trust anyone with religious values over an Atheist or Satan worshiper.
Saying "off hand," wasn't the best choice of words, but I meant this in the context of knowing little or nothing else about a person.

I have no doubt that I have a spirit. I would once say instead that I had no doubt that humans have a spirit. However, in recent years, I have become open to the possibility that some people are born without a soul, and that everyone who does have a soul has had one or more experiences that can be called spiritual. I believe it changes how we treat other people.

On what are you basing this experience? What have you experienced? Are atheists more likely to commit crimes? To lie?

Your opinion isn't based on anything.

    Wow...

Are you that butthurt over my words?

No matter what I say, you will not believe me. My 50+ years of experience with other humans on this earth obviously have no merit to you. What compelling reason do I have to try to convince you of that my opinion is correct?

    It is opinion...

Let it go, else you definitely are butthurt!

    Zero;

    Did you do this?

Religious statues beheaded at Portland Grotto

I have visited this Grotto. It is truly a sacred place. This was completely uncalled for.

Yeah, I thought so. You're as laughable as Avante, since both of you post bull then hide behind the "It's just my opinion" excuse when called out.

    WTF...

I am not going to waste my time recounting several dozen experience to prove a point to an asshole like you.

Tell me. Would you believe me anyway, or do you need me to find a link on the internet?

This is the same pointless BS I was speaking of earlier. It becomes a never ending argument. People like you are de able, wanting to have someone prove opinion.
