You say that most sane and rational people need a God as if people initially choose to believe. The reality is that the vast majority of theists believe because that is how they were raised. They believe because they were told to believe, and they think believing would make them happy and fulfilled because they were told that believing would make them happy and fulfilled.
You're still contradicting yourself on Muhammad. If his claims were obvious bull , then so are the Bible's claims. You are just picking and choosing when you want to be skeptical.

And you still seem to be missing my point. People don't "need" religion in their lives to be happy. Is humanity more inclined to create religions? Yes. Does that mean that religion is necessary? Of course not.
