I am? Yep, I'm mouse.
Yes and no. The fact that most sane/rational humans need a God is very evident, Mohammads lie a great example of that. It's real obvious he simply was a copycat, witha few twists. Bottom line is that this world wants a God, so you are living on a planet that doesn't buy your opinion.
I am? Yep, I'm mouse.
You say that most sane and rational people need a God as if people initially choose to believe. The reality is that the vast majority of theists believe because that is how they were raised. They believe because they were told to believe, and they think believing would make them happy and fulfilled because they were told that believing would make them happy and fulfilled.
You're still contradicting yourself on Muhammad. If his claims were obvious bull , then so are the Bible's claims. You are just picking and choosing when you want to be skeptical.
You all should listen to Coast to Coast AM sometimes.
I already mentioned I seriously doubt the Bible, you are missing the point on Mohammad. , look at Hinduism, Buddism, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses and all the different ways of believing in something. Sure they are all wacked out, so what, the thing is humans need.....something. It really doesn't matter how it's done. We don't buy into......"well ya see there was this big bang and"......how stupid is the idea that we all came from some little sea whatever. Talk about stupid, wow!
ignorance is bliss
Well where did we come from then?
Adam and Eve
So you have your own fantasy version of what heaven is like.
that's adorable for 6 year olds.

Researchers accidentally discovered that people with religious beliefs tend to be more content in life while studying an unrelated topic. While not the original objective, the recent European study found that religious people are better able to cope with shocks such as losing a loved one or getting laid off of a job.Professor Andrew Clark, from the Paris School of Economics, and co-author Dr Orsolya Lelkes, from the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research, analyzed the a variety of factors among Catholic and Protestant Christians and found that life satisfaction seems to be higher among the religious population. The authors concluded that religion in general, might act as a "buffer" that protects people from life's disappointments.
we are also all descendants of Noah!
I have no idea.
But you can explain how us humans, the birds, the insects, the mammals and all the different species all came from some fishy thing. Go ahead elaborate.
I don't see how you can call The Big Bang stupid when you admitted countless times that what you believe has no basis in logic whatsoever. That alone makes The Big Bang less stupid than your belief, because people actually have real reasons for believing in The Big Bang beyond "It makes me feel good."
And you still seem to be missing my point. People don't "need" religion in their lives to be happy. Is humanity more inclined to create religions? Yes. Does that mean that religion is necessary? Of course not.
To claim that humanity needs any one thing to make itself happy, is presumptuous and stupid. As I stated in my previous post, the majority of people believe because they were raised to believe. Nothing more.
Lol too re ed to use google
How were you raised?
I was raised Catholic.
Out of many brands of christianism, (34.000 different registered doctrines) catholics are the funniest, they have all those meaningless holy rituals, loads of gold, fancy holy attires, confessions, images and ...... but they have no ing clue what the bible really says, or what's their church creed..... for most of them it's a cultural thing. lol
don't forget pedophilia
So your parents were believers as were theirs and so on. So at some point you started thinking..."what a load of bull ". Let me guess your parents still believe in that silly bull . Obviously you're way too intelligent to fall for that crap, right?
haha criticising someone for wanting to ask questions and make up their own mind.. ok
I couldn't care less what you/redzero believe in "until" you start trying to act like us believers are this and that. Once you do that then yes, you criticize back. Getting it now?
Yeah, how dare I think for myself?!
Are you actually going somewhere with this line of inquiry?
We all think for ourselves surprised you didn't know that.
So what do your parents think about you turning your back on their religion?
Stop talking, you dumb Jeebo ... we get it, all atheists are stupid to you because you don't want to hear logic and reason....
