Go Spurs Go ... finally will be able to catch a game live on League Pass ...
vs 7:30
players too watch :
matt bonner will have another double digit rebounding game ..... cojo's defense should prove enough to win the back up pg spot ....
Go Spurs Go ... finally will be able to catch a game live on League Pass ...
Are Mills and Green still out?
Finally my account got approved. Rockets fan here, but man the spurs always beat the rockets, lol so sad. Least 95% of the time. After that come back win against LA, would be great if rockets win this and then win in Houston next week against spurs.
Green is listed as a "probable starter" on NBA.com...not sure if that means anything.

Hope Nando gets the backup pg spot.
Let's hope the Spurs can contain Harden enough to get the W here.
I know Parker's going to beat the out of Lin though. . .that's a given.
Asik isn't that great inside either. He's got barely any scoring ability at all.
I think the Spurs can dominate this matchup all year if they can keep Epic Beard Man in check.
Asik is a beast inside and he's only improving. Beast on D, improving offense so I wouldn't say "barely".
Welcome to ST. Is your team tanking?
First time poster. I predict Spurs by 8. Getting close...

Hopefully Green plays because if not, I have no idea who is going to defend Harden.
Are Harden, Asik, and Parsons playing tonight?
Yeah we really need Green in there tonight....
The Beard hasn't been all that hot from the perimeter this season, so gotta take care the penetration, drive & kick game of his tonite. But ofcourse, he has a knack to catch fire when playing the Spurs, so who knows ??
Thanks. I saw them all listed as day to day and wasn't sure.![]()
With almost 1/4 of regular season completed (19 games), here are some Spurs team rankings for consideration:
#1 Assists/Gm (24.47)
#1 Assists/Gm Diff. (+4.47)
#2T Opp. 3-Pt% (.321)
#7 Opp. FG % (.433)
#10 FT % (.777)
#5 PPG (102.63)
#4 Diff. (+6.84)
Granted, OKC is really looking impressive in several offensive and defensive categories...but the Spurs have made some strides defensively.
just packing the paint and making them shoot jumpshots should be a good enough defensive strategy
theyre not a great floor spacing/shooting team
i know in games where harden doesnt go off they have a bad record
and asik is pretty good
one of the top 5 centers imo
underrated passer, elite defensively, he kind of has bad hands but hes 7 feet and only has to dunk it most of the time so its not really a problem
will most likely kill the spurs on the boards tonight
i find it hard to believe were actually good defensively
the rest of the league must just be sucking more then we are
pick and roll and offball screen defense is still horrible
also getting pounded inside by bad teams
okc i have no trouble believing is a good defensive team now though
they have the athletes and the experience to become a very good defensive team
Welcome to ST. Do you love Bonner more than Tim or just as much? Burning question these days on the board.
Just saw this from earlier....
JMcDonald_SAEN Kawhi Leonard (left quadriceps tendinitis) and Stephen Jackson (broken right pinky) still out, but might travel on upcoming road trip. 7 hours ago
JMcDonald_SAEN Danny Green (hamstring) and Patty Mills (ankle) both made it through shootaround unscathed. Team calls both probable for tonight. 7 hours ago
I don't know if u heard but RJ got traded.
I dont see why they would tank...maybe if they didnt go through the trouble to get jeremy lin and harden, its early in the season and almost a complete new team. I def think they have playoff potential...really want Gasol to come to Houston. People say teams tank just cause of low record really....guess Lakers are tanking too![]()
Tank, get a high pick, either use it or trade it for a superstar or max player to go along with Harden.
Who can they get besides Gasol?
Or who do you think they NEED more importantly. I know they were desperate for a center.
Ha! I don't hate on Bonner, I just know his role. He is what he is. He works hard and adds a lot to the bench during the regular season. In the playoffs, particularly deep, defenses are usually better and he struggles as he can't create his own shot and he can't shoot when someone is quickly closing on him. That shuts down his offense.
Timmy is playing so well this year! It started last year and is even better this year. Such a testament to his work ethic and how he takes care of himself all year long.
Thanks for the welcome.
