I didn't feel like resurrecting last year's thread.
But the first time of the year.

WTF, close this , this is the "Spurs Forum"!
the purple and piss.
Westbrook and Durant are my favorite people in the world when they are ting on the Lakers!
The road to 71-11 is still open. Tonight was just a small puny setback for our yellow and purple boys!
get out of here noob, fck the lakers! All day, everyday!
i want to see kobe not qualify for the playoffs, fck that overrated posse, how much more help does he need?
If the Lakers miss the playoffs and the Spurs win a ring I would probably die of pure enjoyment. It would put an emphatic end to the Kobe - Tim debates
Ehh.......
Duncan : 5
the tired old bag Kobe : 5
????????
Considering Tim has the edge in MVP's, Finals MVP's (the way he's playing this season, if we do manage to take it all its likely he'd pick up his 4th), and the Spurs in his time have been much more consistent as far as being contenders, never having missed a playoff birth, etc. The main thing right now people bring up is kobe 5 Duncan 4. If that number gets evened out, and Kobe doesn't go on to win another, it'll be tough to argue when Kobe has played with the likes of prime Shaq, prime Dwight, prime Gasol and doesn't manage to outdo Tim.
Main point i was going on to make is I almost care about the Lakers losing as much as I do the Spurs winning (almost). Plus one of the premises of my last comment was if the Lakers miss the playoffs. I know the Lakers will eventually pick it up, but if Kobe actually manages to miss the playoffs with this roster, it would really be tough to put an argument together when we were making playoffs starting guys like Bonner, Roger Mason, Finley, etc
Kobe has already managed to miss the playoffs with the likes of Prime Odom in his starting lineup, and Chris Mihm wasn't bad either. However, to Kobe's credit, Mihm missed about a third of the season, and Smush Parker and Devean George were the other starters (after Chucky Atkins left).
I'm not gna lie... that 2005 lakers team wasn't one to write home about. Mihm, Kwame sharing time, Chucky Atkins starting point guard, and Butler hadn't really broken out yet. Still, I love to poke at that. Not even the 8th seed?![]()
Only down 9 points to a really good 11-9 Utah team. Really good chance for LA to win this game.
Valiant effort tonight. Cut the Jazz's 15 point lead by more than half during the last 5 minutes.

9-12 overall record
7-6 home
A full game ahead of Portland for the 11th seed in the West.
Next up a four game road trip starting in Cleveland Tuesday.
As much fun as it is to see the Lakers losing i'm still in shock how bad they are I knew they were way overhyped coming into the season but never expected them to be this bad.
what a bunch of sorry ass losers lol
