UFC needs to clear things up with weight ins.
If they gonna round the weight when they do have more precise scale or not.
Like Siver with 146.2 had to cut /take off underpants/ to be 146.0

1st round finish for Rory. Penn is tough though and can survive first round. Anyway IMO MacDonald has the right strategy and with his skills and being much bigger he is gonna destroy Penns dreams.

Absolute war. Could go either way. Hoping for a big luck for Swick

Champ Benson Henderson vs. Nate Diaz (for lightweight le) - Watching Diaz get his ass handed to him will be an early Christmas present.
Alexander Gustafsson vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua - Ditto on the "past, meet present", TroutBum. Rua has a ton of heart, but Gustafsson is really good.
Rory MacDonald vs. B.J. Penn - Ares is insane, and one of my favorite fighters. He's a (not too) future WW champion. Penn has a ton of talent, but I just can't see him beating MacDonald. And MacDonald trains with GSP, and we all know how the GSP-Penn fights went...
Matt Brown vs. Mike Swick - I think their styles are going to make this a fun fight, but Quick Swick comes out on top.


PRELIMINARY CARD (FX, 5 p.m. ET)

Lavar Johnson vs. Brendan Schaub - Two heavyweights who like to stand up and trade blows, should be another fun fight. If Schaub losses, is he cut from the UFC? Or does Dana give him another chance?

Because the Johnson v. Schaub fight isn't happening anymore I'm going to pick another fight off the undercard.

Raphael Assuncao v. Mike Easton - Gut pick, but Easton can be a lot of fun to watch.

Good job on the weigh in vids, errbody. Rory IS the future of WW, he is super strong and quick...but BJ is and will always be the scrappiest dude in the UFC, and he punches like a brick. If Rory gets caught, BJ will swarm...but I think Rory plays it safe and just uses his strength to maintain distance.
