Gregg Popovich explains why Kawhi Leonard is traveling with his teammates
"I don't know why he's here," Popovich said before Saturday's game in Charlotte, a 132-102 victory in which the Spurs made a franchise record 19 3-point shots. "It's camaraderie crap. Ask the trainers why he's on the trip. Maybe save your per diem and have a meal on the plane? I don't know."

Man, so Harden's out. Gonna still buy a cheap ticket and head over in a sec, but I think it's gonna be pretty lopsided now..
Blair is starting, so Spurs probably will start slow and give hope to the Rockets
Considering Harden was about the only guy who managed to do serious damage against us last time we played them (and blew them out), there we will a good chance we will be treated with plenty of De Colo playing time![]()
What's that? James Harden isn't playing?
Well, this is gonna be a tough game. . .up a down, tight on both ends of the court. . .
Oh who am I kidding.

Lol. I guess the Lin hype has completely died down. Even I was on his bandwagon for a while. The reality is that the dude sucks and shouldn't be starting.
Yeah, Lin was obvious overrated last year. You just had to look at who he was playing. During "Linsanity", it was like a dozen games or so, maybe 13. . .and 9 of them were against teams who had a combined record of like .340%. The other 3 were against an injured Hawks team missing 2 of it's best 3 guys, and like maybe two decent teams thrown in there. . .but with old, slow point guards.
Then, soon as he started to face real teams, he the bed over and over again. Then he got hurt. It was pretty clear Lin was a paper champ. Filled up the stats against tankers then got destroyed by legit teams.
I felt bad for Rockets fans that they signed Lin to so much money. But they did steal James Harden, so they have a nice foundation to work with now.
No need to be upset with this right now. With Diaw manning the 3, Blair is the natural choice to start at 4. Splitter's game is better suited for coming off the bench, at least against a team like the Rockets.
Look at the bright side, at least Bonner isn't starting.
lets keep lin to 0 pts, fck that overrated hack
Blair's game is better suited for staying in the bench.
The Rockets always seem to play the Spurs close in Houston no matter what scrubs they put in their lineup.
Looking foward today to see if Nando and splitter keep up the good work as of late.
I hope everybody that guards him gets at least 4 blocks each.
Bonner has been playing well lately. That's more than I can say for Blair.
Don't forget Patty. In the last three games, Patty's averaged 11 points on 62% shooting.
Not that I disagree with you guys, but at least we know Pop will bench Blair when it matters.
I know Blair would probably be one of the worst starting 4s in the league, but still....
Spurs are 119-43 (.730) when Blair starts.
I think I'll take those chances against these Rockets with him.
^ word blair was missed the last 2 playoffs .....
That sounds pretty good but honestly I still don't like Patty as a regular rotation player. Hopefully he's the first one dropped when Kawhi/Jax get back.
