Spurs have a tough stretch from Saturday to Tuesday..

Vs. Boston on Saturday, OKC on Monday and back to back vs. Denver on Tuesday..

It is clear that the Spurs are gassed and need Leonard/Jackson for depth..

Should Kawhi return on Saturday, tbh?..

He should play whenever he's healed.

Taking the Andrew Bynum approach to recovery it seems.

And lol at playing another back2back against the best team in the West and then a solid team in one of the most hostile road environments. ed up schedule to be sure.

To be honest, you have a point, but honestly....large and all caps?

And no. Kawhi should not play until he's completely healed.

I think they can win against BOS without him. Not sure if they win @ OKC with or without him. So if it were up to me, I'd play him at Denver and see how he feels the next two days off.

I would say Manu also. No need to wait till game 5 of the WCF.

After today's game, I hope he comes back. The team is seriously gassed and needs him.

So we start six players? Guaranteed ring if it's 6-on-5!

    j/k

Even if he comes back, his contributions will probably be minute. He's been my favorite reason to watch but I'd prefer he sit out still he's good to go. just my .02

Ithink our best lineup is tp mg kl tim and tiago with mg. Kl. And tiago in a limited role. But there's just so many options. I think pop. Is more concerned with a balanced rotation though. Would u trust a bench of gary Danny stephen Boris and Matt or blair. No size or balhandling.it becomes clear when our best 5 is in that we need a veteran big and veteran point. Nando could manage but he is not NBA proven.) Then if so who does he run pick with. Besides I think pop is limiting minutes to tiago to save money. Hope not.

We could start our best 5 if we did in fact have depth. I measure depth by we have 8 maye9 playoff caliber players the rest are being developed or showcased.ppl. U can play in the playoffs when rotations get slashed and weaknesses are exploited.

Don't bring Kawhi back until he's healthy, tbh.

This injury is very frustrating. His target date initially was Dec. 1st. 2 weeks later he's still out, and could miss another week or so. Hope his knee issue doesn't linger on throughout the season.

Kawhi should play if he is healthy ...

and for thinking that a player who missed some weeks will help a tired team ... he will be gassed after 15 minutes of total playing time ...

If he's taking this long I feel bad for the Lakers. Pau has it in both knees. What if they don't make the playoffs. Chuckles.

I can assure you that Paus situation is much worse. Taking his age into account and the fact he played NBA and international tournaments the past years I think his tendinitis takes much longer to heal. Sad for him ... but the Lakers still may burn in !

Kawhi's not really needed against Boston. It's the OKC game where he's more necessary, he did a good job of getting Durant out of any rhythm especially in the 4th.
