I'd love for them to be future spurs, having 2 Manus out there would be coolest thing ever. though maybe we can screen their DNA first to make sure there is no Mr Glass gene, j/k scrah
I wouldn't read too much about what he said about his kids... if anything, it's just so they don't grow up with the pressure of being as good as dad (which is obviously very tough)... Manu is definitely the guy that will let his kids do what they want to do...

If youve played sports you know this is nothing tbh. Just a big ass bruise, probably feels really sore and tight but will be fine in a couple of days once the bruise heals.
Really a nonissue in terms of d next few games. The other role players will contribute more.
Hopefully manu will have time to reflect on adjusting his game to match his tosbness
manu has just beeen a role player this year
Manu understanding that the role players need to play better and got himself injured to get them more time. Also inspired TP to wake up and close the game out.
Great move![]()
No it's not, I will take that game off to spare myself lol. I know they will drop that one barring some kind of crazy games by the role players.
Better now then the last game of the season...
After the game Pop said that Manu was having trouble walking. My guess is the earliest he'll be back is Dec. 21 against the Hornets.
Damn. I hope it's nothing serious and something that will keep him out long-term.
Poor Manu just can't catch a break with all these setbacks.
El-Contusion
Maximum Sports @MaxSportsSA Manu Ginobili travels with Spurs to OKC, but team is still calling him doubtful vs. Thunder tomorrow night.
I guess this means that it's not that serious. Good thing..
He'd travel with the team if they think he can play in Denver the next night.
Yes. His role is to turn the ball over.
Manu traveling with the team is definitely a good news.
It would have been very tempting for Spurs to let Manu in SA for the b2b against OKC and Denver. Spurs next game after the trip is next Friday which would have given Manu plenty of playing time to get healthy. His injury should be very minor for Spurs not to follow that plan.
Good news.
Hopefully this gives him an excuse to focus on free throw practice (Shooting free throws should be O.K. for what appears to be a minor left quad contusion given that he's traveling with the team).
Manu traveling is really good news. It's pretty safe to assume that he's doubtful for OKC, questionable for Denver but something close to probable for New Orleans.
Probably.
I wouldn't even rush bringing Manu back anytime soon with the way the other guys are playing and the way he's struggling everytime he gets hurt. Give him more of a coaching gig.
As usual, Don Harris is a moron
