Yeah...I'm pretty sure that's part of it too. For all the talk of how close they are it's pretty obvious he doesn't believe in Schaub at all when it comes to third and long. At some point this will bite them in the ass in the playoffs.

The way Kubiak is, while I don't like it, (when the team goes up by two or three scores and runs the clock the rest of the game) he tries to win games without showing all the plays in the arsenal. That could easily come back to bite him in the ass, or he could open it up in the playoffs and no one know what to expect (Plays for Keshawn, Posey, Jean. etc)..I justt wish he wasn't so conservative. He'll have to prove me wrong in the playoffs because I completely lost faith after the NE game. Lost faith in Wade too.
