Making the playoffs would be a disaster, Blazers need lottery talent to put around Lillard and Aldridge. They are two great pieces, one more along with solid players like Batum and Matthews and maybe they could become a contender.
Other option is probably best which is to blow it up completely by trading Aldridge for talent + picks. Maybe they'll wait for a stronger draft to do that, 2013 is supposed to be weak
Aldrige can barely walk as it is, don't even want to know what this ankle injury looks like. Gonna be difficult to trade him if he can only play with cobbler, tbh...
