RG3 or Luck tbh
He's definitely the best rookie this year.
Can't argue with how well Wilson is managing this team. Seahawks could come out the NFC.
This got just cost me a fantasy football le tbh.
RG3 has more than twice as many rushing yards, has thrown only 2 fewer touchdowns but 5 fewer INTs. He's got 500 more passing yards and his team is leading the division they're in.
But go ahead and make a case for Wilson.
Wilson plays with a top 5 defense and tje 2nd leading rusher in the game. He's disqualified from consideration.
I have never seen a sequence of plays from Wilson that impressed me, tbh..he's a good game manager, slightly above average overall QB, nothing special..
The Seahawks have the 3rd ranked defense, the 2nd leading rusher, and the 29th ranked passing offense. Do the math.
9-5 (really 8-6 if we're being honest) with all that support. Peyton would have that team at 13-1. Luck and RG3 would have 11 or 12
Wilson has thrown the 3rd most TD passes for a rookie of all time.
Wilson has the 2nd highest completion percentage for a rookie of all time.
Wilson has the 3rd highest passer rating for a rookie of all time.
There is no doubt he should be ROY.
...I'm assuming RG3 has the highest completion precentage and passing rating for a rookie all-time?
Nope.
1. Ben Roethlisberger 66.44 % in 2004.
2. Russell Wilson 62.9 %
TD Passes
1. Peyton Manning 26 in 1998
2. Charlie Conerly 22 in 1948
3. Russell Wilson 21
Passer Rating
1. Ben Roethlisberger 98.2 in 2004
2. Dan Marino 96.0 in 1983
3. Russell Wilson 95.5
Where does Wilson rank in passing yards, tbh?..he seems to have a load to carry on offense..
Math is apparently hard
RG3 Completion % = 66.4
RG3 Passer Rating = 104.2
So yes, as of right now RG3 has the best of all time and better than Wilson.
I have been - I just don't post every day.

Russell Wilson's amazing day
Did you know?

• Wilson is the first player in NFL history with three rushing TDs and a passing TD in the first half of a game.
• Has a 62.9 completion percentage, second for NFL rookies seasons (Ben Roethlisberger, 66.44 in 2004)

I guess the Seattle Times likes to ignore that he's behind RG3 too. They'll pretend to be shocked when Wilson is 3rd in ROY voting.
so how long is tlong going to ignore the elephant in the room?
