some numbers hit me today that all but renders Duncan's les meaningless...if you consider Kobe a "true" sidekick during his first 3...This will blow you out the water...
Let's compare Kobe's first 3 les (the infamous 'side-kick' 3-peat) with Duncan's first 3 les:
Each succeeding year Kobe 'the 'side-kick'averaged 21.1 pts ; 29.4 pts ; & 26.6 ppg respectively in the playoffs of our 3 peat.
While Duncan averaged 23.2 pts, 24.7 pts, & 23.6 ppg respectively during the play-offs for his first 3 les.
These numbers alone show that les won in LA are much much much more valuable than les won in SA...Kobe's numbers as a side-kick in LA are more impressive than Duncan's numbers as the primary go-to guy in SA...
Further to my point - Kobe averaged 25.4pts, 5.9reb, and 5.13ast for the regular season during LA's 3-peat. Better than 95% of all players for those years.
Overall Kobe averaged 25.7pts, 5.83reb, and 5.09ast for the playoffs during LA's 3-peat.
You can't have your cake and eat it to Spur fan...either Shaq is better than Duncan or he's better than Kobe...however, you cannot present a valid argument that makes sense to the rest of the world that Duncan is better than Shaq and also better than Kobe....no reasonably sane person will buy it...
This should effectively end the Kobe vs Shaq debate (who were co-equals) and more importantly Kobe vs. Duncan.

Iverson was asked to play point for some of his career...but he won't lead Kobe for long in assists...and as for scoring he's far behind on the all time list...so no it doesn't make Iverson better...it's all about les and the all-time scoring list...that's what makes you better than Kobe...and Kobe is climbing that list real fast
