I feel fortunate. This is the first (Spurs) game I'm going to this season. It'd be nice to see both Davis and Leonard play.
I wonder how Pop handles the starting lineup.
Wow, they didn't want to keep JA? A little surprising considering how cheap he was and how well he did. Leaves wiggle room for a future addition but surprised by the move a little.
Glad Kawhi will be back - I am going to the game.

I'm greatly pleased that Leonard will finally be back after his unexpected 5 week absence but releasing JA disappoints me a bit. I don't think he'll get much more than 15 minutes maybe 20, tonight.
Cool. I have been stuck at school in Philly all season. I visited some friends in New York last weekend, and we decided to catch a Nets game just for fun. It ended up being that double OT game against the Pistons. I hope that I get an equally good game this time around, but I'll take any Spurs win I can get.
Ha same here, I go to Texas A&M , just took my last final yesterday so I'm all set to come home

Does releasing JA also free up a bit of salary to sign someone to a vet min contract without going into the luxury tax?

I'm not sure that lineup will create enough spacing for anyone but it's what I expect Pop to test out for now.
Hopefully Leonard doesn't have any setbacks and is good to go for the rest of the season.

The starting line up of Tim/Tiago/Kawhi/Danny/TP has so much potential defensively if they can manage the spacing issue. That will be heavily contingent on Kawhi's continued improvement on his mid-range shot and 3 point shot. They should also be an outstanding rebounding unit. We lose some of the ball handling that you have with the Tim/Boris combo, but hopefully this thing goes well. I am excited to see it.
I get excited when I think of the potential of that line-up.

Green and Leonard can hit from downtown. TD not being the main roll man hasn't helped his FG%.
