happens in war. i think it's unproductive to focus on the collateral damage. I disagree with using drones to the extent this administration does, but I also disagree with your method of attacking the policy. With drones, you don't have skin in the game. Our enemy can say, and not be far off, that we are no better than the pilots who hijacked four planes on 9/11.
Republicans seem to prefer to put boots on the ground. Keeping war real, so we all know we don't want it.
Democrats seem to prefer to use cruise missiles and drones. No wonder the Arabs were so infuriated with us. Clinton exhausted our supply of cruise missiles at the time, only to piss them off enough to use four planes as larger cruise missiles.
Obama like these drones. A chicken attack with no US soldier in harms way. Nothing more infuriating that to be attacked by an enemy that you cannot strike back at.
No skin in the game now, and it will come back to haunt us, striking us hard in the future. Just like 9/11. Next time might be with an Iranian nuke sold to terrorists.
