Westbrick would be on another level of chucking if there was no Durant. He's already top 3 in league and he has a scoring champ on his team
Even Westbrick knows his limits. Kobe's on a whole 'nother level of "Ball-hoggery" (if that's even a word)!

I dunno, I've never seen him limit himself. Kobe has tools on his team and not defending his chucking but his bball IQ is higher than Westbrick and if Westbrick was main scoring option he'd average 30 shots a game

Didn't LeBron just say a couple days ago that he couldn't see himself shooting 40 shots a game? Let me dig up that quote...

Edit: Eh, 46 shots... quote's not a big deal.

    http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miam...job-miami-heat
When a reporter brought up the fact that Bryant took 46 shots when he scored 81 points, James laughed and said he wouldn't be able to do that on this Heat team with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh also needing the ball.

"There's only a couple guys in the league that can do that, shoot 46 shots and Kobe is one of them," James said with a smile. "Melo, KD, maybe when he's feeling it. Monta (Ellis). Wow, 46 shots. I don't know."

since 1985 Kobe has had 8 >40 shots games.
MJ had 4. 4 other people (including The Admiral) have had 1.
So he's had as many as everybody else put together.

I am sure if you lower the bar even further it's even worse than that. If you have any skill and can get a shot of you can average alot of points per game. The bigger issue for many players is being allowed to take that many shots.

TBH, if our Mr. Hero Ball played 44 minutes in a single game and got the green light by Pop, he probably wouldn't do much different than Kobe.

OK sir who would that be? TD is our Mr Hero, he has the greenest light ever and the value of team ball still has kept him at 34 Shots Max in a game. I smell a troll Lakers fan.

Hero Ball is not Timmy nor is it Tony (as some might expect). It's also not Manu. I think everyone knows who that narrows it downs to...

Hero Ball is exclusively used to describe the playing styles of two of our players. Can you guess who they are? (Hint: It's Parker and Neal, although I'm much more comfortable with Parker playing the hero than I am with Neal)
