Thibs is overlooked. There is no reason that a team with Deng as your best player should be winning like they do.
They've had the best record in the league for the previous 2 seasons, and are sitting in the playoff picture despite not having their MVP. If Rose returns to all-star form by mid season, can they legitimately challenge the Heat for the East crown? I think they'd beat the Knicks in a playoff series but it'd take a Dirk Nowitzki performance to overcome the 3-1 superstar differential against the Heat.

deng is under rated... he doesnt get enough credit.
Deng is a very solid player - but as a number one option offensively on a team, he is no where near that level. Their system is what allows them to be compe ive. Their defense is what wins them games. I mean, they have guys like Nate Robinson coming in and playing makeshift PG and winning games. Noah is beasting as well. But look at the talent on that team - there is no way they should be this good.
Noah is clearly their best player, but I guess Deng is their top option offensively which is not good either.

Thibbs runs his players to the ground. Noah and Deng are leading the league in minutes per game. If Pop is the master of player fatigue management throughout the season than this guy is the complete opposite.

sons not to mention Belinelli has been balling his ass off lately averaging about 17 PPG in the last 10 games. he also absolutely owns the Knicks averaging 22 PPG against them.
Thibs is really overrated. Unless he modifies how much his team plays balls to the wall during the regular season it'll never have post season success.
their D might be the best of the league right now which's definitely gonna help with their odd of beating teams like boston and NY, but i still don't see no damn chance for them to threaten miamiand there's in fact no team that's gonna challenge us imho.
Thibodeau is playing Deng and Noah the most MPG in order to float above .500, tbh.
i agree with most of the stuff you said... i think deng could be a number one option, but i dont think they have given him that role.. nor in the past or future when rose returns. im actually really surprised at their record. good D, noah is ballin as well.
