Phil Jackson still happily retired. But he’d listen if Nets call. Process with Lakers “got him thinking about coaching again” source says.

Of course he would listen. Prokhorov's limitless checkbook can open almost any set of ears.

Phil Jackson's longtime representative, Todd Musburger, tells me via text that Jackson "has no interest in the Nets' job at this time."

Doubt he comes back but melo would feast in that offense and its a good fit for the elder better shooting Kidd. Felton and smith would hate it. Tyson would thrive Amare too. Nets Dwill, would hate it but Lopez and JJ would excel

Phil Jackson's health has much deteriorated since losing to the Dallas Mavericks basketball franchise in the second round of the 2011 NBA Playoffs, which eventually saw the Mavericks win the NBA Championship. He will not help the Brooklyn Nets basketball team.

dude doesn't care to win anymore when he already has 11 rings so it's a possibility that he signs with the nets to earn one last big paycheck for his retirement life

The Nets are not the only ones seeking Jackson’s wisdom and rings. At least two other teams have approached him recently — most likely offering off-the-court positions — and it is believed that Jackson is considering those options.
Hmm, I wonder which other teams are trying to get him...
