it's not just the racial composition that makes the whole difference imho. even if the US has a complete 100% of white population it'd still be nearly impossible to take their guns away from them. guns make a big portion of american culture and they've become a symbol of liberty, like a knight's sword which's a mark of power even though it'll never be used again in a real fight. you can't be a real american w/o having a gun imho

I said ban of all semiautos as I don't think an assault weapon ban would do . You're the one that is always so hung up on the meaning of words that I would think you of all people would understand how what defines the ban is important. I have been consistent about a semiauto ban from the beginning.

Majority only matters in a vote. What in Australia is comparable to the undo ented aliens we have in the US, and the porous borders we have? What in Australia is comparable to entire sections of large cites being "Little Havana" or "Ghetto"? What's the whitest state in the US? Maine, wouldn't you think? Guess which state has the lowest crime rate? Guess which has the highest? Louisiana, do I need to go on? If you agree that crime and poverty often run together, and you agree that the poorest population in the US is most often minority, then you have to conclude pretty much what I said.
