The Bills are still gonna be a ty team for the forseeable future. The QBs in this upcoming draft class are like five notches below what was available last year.
Spiller showed a lot of potential, exciting young player.
What happened to Fitz?
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/87...m-russ-brandon Brandon is now calling the shots. He's keeping Buddy Nix on as GM for a couple years (fine with that move), then transitioning to Doug Whaley (which is what Bills fans want). Gailey's gone, Fitzpatrick will be cut, Wilson is no longer making decisions, and C.J. Spiller will be the unquestioned starter at RB next year. This offseason's not even 3 days old and it's already the best one we've had in 10 years. All that's left is drafting a QB (with our 1st pick)--which everybody has us doing--and re-signing Jairus Byrd and Andy Levitre, for the perfect offseason.

He got paid.
Fitz's 2012 #'s weren't nearly as bad as I thought they were: 24 tds, 16 ints, 3400 yds, 61% completions, 83.8 rating. Keep in mind he had dog at the WR position outside of Stevie. Gailey trying to force-feed Fred Jackson (and ignoring CJ Christ) also hurt the O. I wish we could keep Fitz as a b/u--he'd be the perfect one--but his contract makes that an impossibility.
