"I can tell you change is necessary at 8-8," Jones, later adding, "Change is in order when you spend the two seasons in a row down to the last two games and lose them, so we're going to have to have changes."
While offering support for coach Jason Garrett, the team owner refused to answer questions regarding defensive coordinator Rob Ryan's status and whether or not Garrett will remain the play-caller in 2013.

Translation: "I will still be Owner and GM, and Romo will still be my starting QB, so basically we will suck again next year."

He continues to make his own bed by refusing to step down as GM, seeing him get pissy about sleeping in it is pretty funny. This doesn't apply to the filthy Mexicans in Arizona who cheer for them, but I do feel sorry for Cowboys fans who know that they're gonna suck as long as he's in control.

Yeah, you're the ty GM that put this all together, genius. If he gets rid of Rob Ryan and keeps Romo I'm gonna kill someone.

Special Teams guy should have been fired, Rob Ryan doesn't deserve to be and anyone who watched this season knows it, he lost almost all his good players. Cowboys finally get a decent secondary and all his ing LBs go down.

why would he get rid of Rob Ryan, has that been mentioned as a possibility? Ryan has done a phenomenal job given all the injuries Dallas had in their front 7 this year.

If the Cowboys keep Ryan, get an upgrade at safety, a real 3-4 nose tackle so the rest of their d-line doesn't have to play out of position, and have better luck with front 7 injuries, their defense will be one of the best next year.

Defense was better than its been in a long time, and that was WITH the abnormally large amount of LB injuries. Romo and crew really ed up some golden oppurtunities this year after huge defensive stops

Even Daniel in Snyder knew to step down as GM. Jerry will realize it after 1 more season of failure IMHO maybe 2 if he isn't dead before that.

My opinion..we draft a QB to take Romo's spot in the VERY near future...and we sign an offensive coordinator...Norv Turner needs a job.

sounds like a plan......cowboys also need some speed on the defensive line.......either way I can't wait for next yr.....dez bryant is going to be a beast

The number one priority for the cowboys this off season is too fix both lines and also get an offensive coordinator that knows how to beat the blitz imho.

Yup...and I think Turner can do that....but we NEED to work on the lines...couldn't agree more.

I'm not too sure about Turner though people say his plays are old and out dated...but who knows hopefully jerry brings in a competent playcaller.

Turner couldn't be more incompetent than Opie....he's just beyond ridiculous. Actually, now that I think about it, I think Norv pretty much runs the same system Dallas does, so it probably wouldn't help much. I just hope when he says "changes are coming" he means legit changes.

so the only change and uncomfortableness Jerrah caused was firing Ryan and giving Rm $100,000,000.00

Don't forget his genius move of naming Bill Callahan as offensive coordinator while still letting Garrett run the offense and call the plays.
