Little es. Be glad that Lakers were gifted a top 3 PF in his prime, who carried Kobe to 2 championships.

Its karma that Lakers traded knee trash for back trash.

Could be a turning point in the history of the two franchises tbh. Sterling sees he can make a boatload of money with a good team in a bandwagoning city with a huge TV market while Dolan 2.0 wrecks daddy's car.

I was just thinking that, could the tides start to turn in favour of the clips, surely its possible.

Not under Sterling though, need to have an owner who's willing to show & invest the money before reaping the benefit, not trying to always milking the cashcow no matter what.

Considering how stacked this team is, I think he's finally willing to show and invest the money, tbh...

Another thing I don't understand is Lakerfan's contention over Stern vetoing the Chris Paul trade, as if the commish overstepped his authority, acting against the Lakers.

Stern was essentially the de facto owner of the Hornets at that time and had the right to do whatever he thought was in the best interest of the franchise.

"Stern had the authority to kill the deal because the league owns the Hornets, having purchased the franchise from George Shinn in 2010."

    http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/09/sp...deal.html?_r=0

For once, the Lakers didn't get gifted a top player/pick (Utah Jazz having to give the Lakers a draft pick [which led to Magic Johnson] per league rules after Goodrich signed with the Jazz; Cleveland trading their top pick away to the Lakers for peanuts, which led to James Worthy; Kobe refusing to play for anyone but the Los Angeles Lakers; the Gasol debacle, etc, etc) in their history and Lakers fans can't handle it.
