You don't be stupid.
Don't be stupid.
You don't be stupid.
Luck was carried to the playoffs by the 26th ranked defense, 22nd ranked rush offense, worst offensive line, and 4 of his top 6 offensive weapons being rookies who have multiple drops a game?![]()
His coach got cancer and missed most of the season which carried him. I'm just surprised why Bruce Arians getting sick and missing this game didn't motivate Indy more.
Yup. Helps with an easy schedule.
so what do you think has led to Colts turnaround? Luck's passer rating? his 23 TDs and 18 Ints?
His 7 4th quarter comebacks/GW drives
Tbh, I'd say a weak AFC helped get the Colts into the playoffs....
Wow. You're seriously trying to argue Chuck Pagano getting cancer and missing games played a bigger role in the Colts' turnaround than Andrew Luck's passing. I'm speechless.
LMAO! You see!
I think Luck was pretty good in his first outing (...he's a rookie), didn't expect much with that core. They should be serious contenders with that cap space.
But yeah, this Colts team isn't that good yet. They were the only playoff team with a negative point differential (and only 11 win team in history to have a (-)ve differential). I think they won 9 of their 11 games by less than a TD and 9-1 overall in game decided by a TD or less (which honestly is more of an anomaly than simple 'clutchness'). Easiest schedule in the NFL. Still a great season, but let's put it into perspective.
I'm not really interested in the rookie QB wankfest rivalry. The NFL is gonna be fun to watch with these new crop of QBs (namely Luck and RG3), tbh.
I seriously can't believe y'all are denying the power of Chuckstrong. The chiefs even won a game after a tragedy.
Wow, can't believe how many stupid posters we have here.
People like HI-FI are needed for schools to fill the remedial classes justifying public funding.
FYI, Luck's win % against NFC teams is higher than his win % against AFC teams.
Regardless of how weak the AFC is, the Colts were the worst team in the AFC last year and the 5th best team this year. Either the rest of the AFC got a lot worse in 1 off season, or the Colts got a lot better for 1 reason or another.
I don't think the AFC got that much worse, and I don't think Chuck Pagano getting cancer made the Colts any better.
That doesn't make any sense.
How come the Chargers couldn't use the emotion from Seau's death to make a SuperBowl run? Look at that emotional wave they missed out on!
The Colts weren't a good team at all. Rookie QB, below average in a lot of positions. They happened to win a ton of close games against bad teams. Luck was a big part of that. He's only gonna get better.
The AFC really did get a lot worse, tbh... the pathetic Chargers with Philbilly in rare form were in the playoff picture for most of the year, nuff said....
Norv sucks all the emotion out of a team, tbh![]()
So the Chiefs winning 1 home game against a 7-9 team after a tragedy is your proof that the Colts won 11 games because of a tragedy?
Chargers were in the playoff race last year. Their division winner won 8 games.
This. Plus they do have a ton of money (45+ mil) to surround Luck with better talent. Top FA should be packing their bags to Indy
the Chargers had a BETTER record in last year's AFC than they did in this year's AFC
attempting to use them as proof the AFC got a lot worse
