The spurs wanted him in the draft he came from. Is there any chance they going after him?
The Cavaliers have waived forward Samardo Samuels, General Manager Chris Grant announced today from Cleveland Clinic Courts.
He is so much better than Blair, do it, Pop!

Why would they waive him? Has he regressed to Blair level?
C'mon Pop R.C make that move!!
We need to do something with Blair before the deadline, that's for sure.
It would be worth a try.
If he proved good enough, he'd eventually be taking Diaw's minutes...wouldn't he?(that's a joke)
[] But who knows what could happen. I doubt the FO would go after him but I thought all Spurs fans wanted Centers 6'10 or taller?

OMG!! He's 6'9"!! Sign him Pop!!
More like he never progressed to Blair's level.
Cleveland is an 8-27 team that is way under the salary cap and they valued a roster spot more than Samuels at the league minimum salary. Rightly so, his numbers are much worse than Blair's.
Fouls too much. Pop would never play him.
Well Pop will talk to Ferry to see if he would be a good pick for us like Green and if so then go for it.
Can't jump, can't shoot, can't rebound, undersized. How's he different from Blair?
Different name ....
I only recall seeing him in one game against the Spurs and in that game he seemed better than Blair. That's why I was asking if he has regressed. I guess it might have been a fluke game. Anyway, if Cleveland are waiving him then he is not really any use to the Spurs.
I don't think he was on the team when Ferry was the GM.
Is he white!!!??
wouldn't hurt to try out Samuel......maybe he can take blairs spot
Blair's contract is already guaranteed. He's going nowhere, unless by trade.
Not better then Blair. He is no good.
Yeah ! Crappy team waived crappy player, sign him ! His is tall !
no more skilled than blair, but he's 3 inches taller
