DeMarcus Cousins could be walking through that door. The Kings’ center, who has been connected to the Celtics in trade rumors for more than a month, could be on his way to Boston by Monday morning, according to a report. A source told NBAonNBC.com that Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge was working to complete a deal to bring Cousins to the Celtics by the end of Sunday night. Jeff Green, Jason Terry, Jared Sullinger and Courtney Lee are among the players who could be packaged in an offer for Cousins, the website reports. The inclusion of Avery Bradley appears to be a sticking point. Cousins, 22, is averaging 17.4 points and 10.3 rebounds per game for the Kings. He was recently suspended for insubordination, but since his return, he has posted six straight double-doubles and one triple-double while leading Sacramento to a 4-2 record.

Nice pickup if true but I can't believe the Kings would accept any of those scrubs for Cousins.

They might as well salary dumped him somewhere rather than taking back those poisonous contracts, SMFH. I won't get surprised if somehow the Lakers get into Cousin sweepstakes and ending up with Cousins + Salmon + Garcia for Gasol & fillers. After that, they can take a backseat and just enjoy whatever the season brought at the end, even if DHo leaves in the summer.

That trade only happens if the Kings are Boston farm team ala the Grizz to LA, but that's not the case, right ? They get less talents yet still taking up bad contracts straight in the ass ? Ludicrous.

Wasn't Terry signed in free agency? He can't be traded yet, if so... He's just an older version of Marcus Thornton.
I could see a Bradley/Sullinger/filler for Cousins deal. But no way Terry or Green are included unless the Kings are sending their own bad contracts in return.
The only trade that makes sense is one that revolves around Rondo for Cousins. Rondo kinda sucks now and is a headache in his own right so I'm not sure who wins that trade.

It'd be stupid to trade Sullinger, and I'd like to keep JET, seems like a good vet presence. Lee and Green I wouldn't care at all.
I'm going to hope he somehow rejuvenates himself over the 2nd half. The guy got a Celtics tattoo, I can't kick him out.
