spurs dont have a turn it on switch when playin from behind....only switch is the kill switch...
That's dangerous. What happens when you're losing an important playoff game you need to win? That defeatist mentality will take over.

They stunk it up tonight. Nothing positive to take from this one. No excuses, just poor play by everyone.

Everyone seemed like something else was on their mind. The BCS game perhaps? Really weird game. If they were trying their hardest I'd be upset, but it felt like a preseason game out there. If they don't give a , I don't give a .

Would suck if we missed the 1 seed by one game though.
But what makes it more frustrating than anything is the fact that the Thunder also lost to a scrub tonight and we couldn't take advantage in the standings. I ing hate losing games to ing scrubs that don't belong to be on the same floor yet pull out a fluke win out of their asses. Oh well, it happens to every elite team each and every year.

Is this the first game all season we lost where we were "supposed to" win?
First loss this season to a team outside the top 16 records (not including Portland)

Rough patch. You'd like to see continual improvement, but it's a long season.

With the exception of that game, the Spurs haven't really had a quality come from behind win in the playoffs or a series since probably '07.

You can complain all you want but winning 4 rings is NOT bull and many other teams would love to have that "reputation" er, REALITY.

so ur happy with 4 rings and last 6 seasons of utter bull ? still living in the past with those 4 rings and giving everyone a free pass each failed campaigns since 07

that 5th ring we all chasing.....is quickly moving further away into the distance with the same old smallball roster

No, I'm with you that it's been disappointing as to come away empty handed since '07, especially last season and it sucks knowing we should easily have 6 les if not for some bad breaks here and there (Manu's foul on Nowitzki is our Bill Buckner moment) and it looks like we're still one trade away from having a real shot at winning it all this year. But no one can ever take away our 4 les is all I'm saying.

I don't know. I have an issue with the Spurs dropping this one. The team didn't look tired or anything. Lack of focus, terrible rotations, and poor execution were what did it. I don't have a boxscore in front of me so I can't say for sure but I thought that all the guards except Ginobili and maybe Kawhi shot terribly as well. Green and Jax in particular.
Well...sometimes it just "happens." Not every loss needs to have a built-in excuse. They just lost. Move on.
