Beloved Blazers defeat the Magic in OT. Lillard with some big shots.

Even though I don't think the Blazers are very good, I'm not sure why many people projected them to only win 30 or so games this year.

With the way the Lakers are playing, they do have an outside shot of making the playoffs. Lillard looks like he's gonna be a star.

As for the Magic, we have a bet pending on them winning under 23.5 games. It looked bleak a few weeks ago, but they're now on a 9 game losing streak falling to 12-22, thus needing to go 11-37 the rest of the way.

Given the rest of their schedule, it's definitely doable.

But I don't like how they're compe ive in every game. I really thought this team would suck ass losing Howard, Van Gundy, and Ryan Anderson.

Blazers have a great starting lineup
its their bench that isnt even worthy of being in the d-league that screws them over
if they got 20 points consistently from the bench they win
when luke babbit hits a couple shots they almost always win

Blazers are 11-3 on the last 14 games, including the 4 games on 5 nights on the road trip.

The team has A LOT of talent and it's super young, but it's still super super far from being a contender, and I don't wanna say what we've been saying year after year, "in a couple of season this team will be unbeatable" and you all know what always happens.

What I will say is that with each game, they get better. Chemistry builds up all the time, but as I said they are still super young and experience is KEY in the playoffs. The lack of depth in the bench is also a big trouble.
