If you have the means, I recommend treating yourself at least once a week to one of these at whatever your local massage parlor/spa is. I used to get one once a week when I lived up in Pitt, and I finally found my spot down in Miami. Well worth it.

For me it does. I'll be hurting tomorrow since I hadn't had one in awhile--but when I used to get them regularly the soreness was very minimal.

Never considered it because, frankly the thought of a stranger's hands all over me is kinda gross. But I get a pedicure every 2 weeks (also a wonderful treat for yourself) and they have those giant industrial massage chairs that really work you over; I definitely like how I feel afterward.

All depends on where you go and how long the massage is (30, 60, 90min). $30-100, I guess...in some cases much more for services rendered (more of a Vegas thing). Tomorrow when you take off for lunch go get one, if just for 30 minutes. Tip well.

I get one about once a week and rarely are sore the day after from the massage.

I once got a massage from one of those korean on one of those street chair they set up at plazas and whatnot. He worked my shoulder and back pretty hardcore, was good then but really felt it the next day.

North Hollywood has a large Thai community. You get the right gal who was schooled in Thailand and for $35 she can work it!
