seeing rod strickland high up on that list makes me a sad spurs fan.
Then I remember his exit was for that pass, and it paved the way for the "VDN at the 1" era!
I never knew Scottie Pippen got so many assists.
Probably the most underrated PG of all-time.
Parker about to break 5k assists, going to be on that list soon.
He's 30 years old. See there this thing called ac ulated stats, which is hard to get without playing sufficient games.
Bull . He is 54th all time. That is horrible for a PG that has played 11 years and won multiple rangs. Even KG (PF) has more.![]()
Even "Kirby the Chucker" has more total assists than TP.![]()
Yeah, he is only averaging 6 a game for his career. Of course early in his career everything went through duncan, so he had fewer opportunities, but I doubt he will make the top 20.
to be fair, Kobe has played, what, 350 more games just to get another ~650 assists?
LkrFan was trying to make a point there, and you shot it down. Thank you.
Poor Lkrfan. Time's are so tough for his team right now the only solace he can find is Tony Parker being 54th on the all-time assist list
Anyhow, Parker's never been a great passer/playmaker and is more of a score first guard.
hey Lkrfan I bend over grabbed my ankles and still wating for somehting to happen
- TP is a PG in his 12th year. Every year he played, the Spurs won at least 50 games times. He had plenty of opportunity to pad his assist totals.
Career apg averages:
TP - 5.9 (PG)
KB - 4.7 (SG)

Don't forget to bite your bottom lip too.![]()
Pretty pathetic for a "PG" with 12 years of service and 3 rangs tbh.
props to you for sticking around![]()
Not really, since Parker is an average playmaker at best. Duncan typically set up the offense through the low post in the championship years, and Ginobili was the primary perimeter playmaker. Parker's job was to drive the lane.
Keep trolling, though. It's cute that you think indicting Parker's playmaking abilities, which Spurs fans have criticized ad nauseam, will anger anyone. Whatever makes you feel better about the suckass Lakers' current state of affairs, I guess.
Considering that, tomorrow's game against the Spurs will probably be your de facto championship game, won't it?![]()
TP - 32.9 mpg
KB - 36.6 mpg
Nearly 4 extra minutes helps. And Parker has always been a score-first point guard. The Spurs are notorious for making the extra pass after the inital penetration from the pg anyway.
