Because, thats MY team, and because like a typical "idiot fan", i have hope. Because somehow in what many would call delusional thought, i imagine this Laker team to suffer and fall, only to one day start winning and taking the whole damn league by suprise. For some reason, i see this as our purgatory, our paying of dues. So ill be tuning in, and ill be jumping and fist pumping when Kobe scores and Nash drops a nice pass....And when Artest dribbles off his feet again, or Sacre fouls to give an And 1, ill curse, ill burry my face in my hands, and yell at TV.. but not even then will i turn off the tv....... At the end of the night, ill piss and moan, look for someone to blame, log on LG only to realize this places pisses me off even more... (it really does..lol) But at then very end, I can always think of just how great it will be to tell my kids that I watched every stinking second of a great player they called the black mamba GO LAKERS!
